    Advice: Rengifo got the Angels on the board quickly with a two-run blast off Christian Javier in the opening frame. He later plated a third run in the fourth on a base knock. He's now tallied at least one hit in 11 of his last 12 games, which includes 13 hits and a .371 average over his last eight games. He's regularly been hitting first or second since coming back from the injured list last week and is now slashing ,316/.366/.474 with three homers, 15 RBI, 16 runs and an 8:18 BB:K in 124 plate appearances.     India suffered a left shin injury during Tuesday's win over the Padres but remained in game, Mark Sheldon of MLB.com reports. He went 0-for-2 with a walk and a run scored.

    Advice: India was hurt when he got tangled up with San Diego catcher Luis Campusano while scoring on a sacrifice fly to left. India was noticeably grabbing the shin and limped off the field but was able to finish the game.     Paredes went 3-for-5 with a two-RBI double during Tuesday's 5-2 loss to the Red Sox.

    Advice: Paredes plated Josh Lowe and Randy Arozarena on a first-inning double to give the Rays an early lead. However, Tampa Bay wouldn't score again in the game, going 0-for-6 with runners in scoring position outside of Paredes' double.   • Abraham Toro hits go-ahead homer in eighth
    Abraham Toro hit a go-ahead homer in the bottom of the eighth Tuesday as the A’s came back to defeat the Rockies 5-4.

    Advice: Toro’s blast came after Seth Brown tied the game with a two-run homer in the seventh. Toro, who was supposed to become a reserve due to the J.D. Davis acquisition at the end of the spring, has won back his job by hitting .294/.344/.459 in 183 plate appearances.     Ezequiel Tovar hit a pair of solo homers Tuesday in a losing cause against the A’s.

    Advice: In spite of his willingness to swing at anything and everything, Tovar has managed to hit .279/.313/.468 this season. His second homer today, projected at 443 feet, was the second longest of his career and easily the longest among those to come away from Coors Field.   • Luis Rengifo hits two-run homers against Astros
    Luis Rengifo had a two-run homer and an RBI single versus the Astros on Tuesday.

    Advice: Rengifo definitely wasn’t Ron Washington’s favorite player at the beginning of the year, but he’s been one of the best Angels thus far, having hit .316/.366/.474 in 124 plate appearances. Statcast thinks he’s way overachieving, given that his exit velocity numbers are significantly worse than his career marks, but things will probably even out there somewhat; his .840 OPS won’t quite hold up, but his exit velocity numbers should get better.
