• Hitless since return
Lowe went 0-for-4 with two strikeouts Tuesday against the Red Sox.

Advice: Lowe was activated from the injured list Monday and made his second straight start at second base. He's gone hitless across seven plate appearances while striking out three times. Lowe has hit third and fourth in the two contests against right-handed pitching. Rotowire.com 54 minutes ago
  • Three RBI in loss
Rengifo went 2-for-5 with a two-run homer and three RBI in Tuesday's 6-5 loss to the Astros.

Advice: Rengifo got the Angels on the board quickly with a two-run blast off Christian Javier in the opening frame. He later plated a third run in the fourth on a base knock. He's now tallied at least one hit in 11 of his last 12 games, which includes 13 hits and a .371 average over his last eight games. He's regularly been hitting first or second since coming back from the injured list last week and is now slashing ,316/.366/.474 with three homers, 15 RBI, 16 runs and an 8:18 BB:K in 124 plate appearances. • Remains in game after injury
India suffered a left shin injury during Tuesday's win over the Padres but remained in game, Mark Sheldon of MLB.com reports. He went 0-for-2 with a walk and a run scored.

Advice: India was hurt when he got tangled up with San Diego catcher Luis Campusano while scoring on a sacrifice fly to left. India was noticeably grabbing the shin and limped off the field but was able to finish the game. It is presumed he will be able to play Wednesday, but the Reds will likely wait to see how the shin responds overnight. Rotowire.com Today, 4:01 am
  • Collects three hits
Paredes went 3-for-5 with a two-RBI double during Tuesday's 5-2 loss to the Red Sox.

Advice: Paredes plated Josh Lowe and Randy Arozarena on a first-inning double to give the Rays an early lead. However, Tampa Bay wouldn't score again in the game, going 0-for-6 with runners in scoring position outside of Paredes' double. The third baseman has generated multiple hits in five of his last 10 games and leads the Rays in home runs and RBI on the year. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 9:48 pm

  • Abraham Toro hits go-ahead homer in eighth
Abraham Toro hit a go-ahead homer in the bottom of the eighth Tuesday as the A’s came back to defeat the Rockies 5-4.

Advice: Toro’s blast came after Seth Brown tied the game with a two-run homer in the seventh. Toro, who was supposed to become a reserve due to the J.D. Davis acquisition at the end of the spring, has won back his job by hitting .294/.344/.459 in 183 plate appearances. His current .341 BABIP is more than 100 points higher than his .229 mark over his first five seasons. Rotoworld Yesterday, 9:43 pm

  • Ezequiel Tovar homers twice against A’s
Ezequiel Tovar hit a pair of solo homers Tuesday in a losing cause against the A’s.

Advice: In spite of his willingness to swing at anything and everything, Tovar has managed to hit .279/.313/.468 this season. His second homer today, projected at 443 feet, was the second longest of his career and easily the longest among those to come away from Coors Field. He’s actually hit 14 of his 23 career homers on the road, though his batting average is far better at home (.287 to .229). Rotoworld Yesterday, 9:42 pm
  • Luis Rengifo hits two-run homers against Astros
Luis Rengifo had a two-run homer and an RBI single versus the Astros on Tuesday.

Advice: Rengifo definitely wasn’t Ron Washington’s favorite player at the beginning of the year, but he’s been one of the best Angels thus far, having hit .316/.366/.474 in 124 plate appearances. Statcast thinks he’s way overachieving, given that his exit velocity numbers are significantly worse than his career marks, but things will probably even out there somewhat; his .840 OPS won’t quite hold up, but his exit velocity numbers should get better. • Slugs pair of homers
Moore went 3-for-4 with a two-run home run, a solo home run and an RBI single during Tuesday's 6-3 win over the Yankees.

Advice: Moore clubbed his fifth and sixth long balls of the campaign, tagging Clarke Schmidt for a two-run shot in the third and Nick Burdi for a solo shot in the ninth. All but one of Moore's homers have come in May, a month where he's batting .293 with 12 extra-base hits, 15 RBI and 12 runs scored. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 8:50 pm

  • Hits fifth homer
Arcia went 2-for-4 with a two-run home run and a double in Tuesday's 4-3 extra-inning loss to the Cubs.

Advice: Arcia opened the scoring with his second-inning blast off Chicago starter Javier Assad. This was Arcia's first multi-hit effort since May 8 -- he's gone 9-for-44 (.205) with three homers, three doubles and five RBI over his last 12 contests. The shortstop is slashing .247/.273/.416 with five homers, 17 RBI, 19 runs scored, 13 doubles and no stolen bases over 176 plate appearances in a starting role this season.
