      Bryan Reynolds extended his hitting streak to 23 consecutive games on Wednesday in the Pirates’ victory over the Reds.

      Advice: Reynolds officially owns the longest hit streak of the 2024 campaign after a first-inning single on Wednesday afternoon against Reds starter Graham Ashcraft. It was his lone hit in five at-bats, but the fact that he got it out of the way right out of the gate took all of the drama out of this one.       Raleigh went 1-for-2 with a three-run home run and two walks in Wednesday's 5-2 win over Tampa Bay.

      Advice: The Mariners had gone scoreless through five until Raleigh connected for the deciding hit of the game. His 14th homer of the season ties him for the MLB lead at the position, tied with Shea Langeliers and Adley Rutschman.       Jung (wrist) said Wednesday that he expects to resume swinging a bat in a few days, Shawn McFarland of The Dallas Morning News reports.

      Advice: Jung was examined Tuesday in Phoenix by the doctor who performed his right wrist surgery back in early April. While the third baseman has had his activation from the 60-day injured list pushed back a bit due to inflammation in the wrist, he's been told that his wrist is sound structurally. Jung's return has effectively been ruled out through the weekend, but it's possible he'll rejoin the Texas lineup shortly after that.
