• Michael Busch hits walk-off homer vs. Padres
Michael Busch went 2-for-4 with a walk-off homer in Tuesday’s win over the Padres.

Advice: The Cubs held a 1-0 lead throughout most of this one, but a two-run homer by Jurickson Profar in the eighth gave the Padres the 2-1 advantage and put Shota Imanaga on the hook for his first loss of the season. Fortunately for Imanaga, a sacrifice fly by Christopher Morel in the bottom of the eighth inning put the Cubs in position to win it in the final frame. Busch made short work of the opportunity, hitting a leadoff homer to right off the first pitch of the inning from Enyel De Los Santos to give the Cubs the 3-2 win. It was Busch’s seventh homer of the season, as the first baseman continues to shine in his first full year of big league play. Rotoworld 20 minutes ago

  • Bellinger tallies three hits, homers in return
Cody Bellinger went 3-for-4 with a home run in Tuesday’s win over the Padres.

Advice: Bellinger’s solo homer in the fourth gave the Cubbies their first run of the night. It was Bellinger’s sixth homer of the season and third in his last seven games, in what was his return from the 10-day IL. Bellinger extended his hitting streak to nine games in this one, and continues to look hot after getting off to a slow start through the first two weeks of the season. His three-hit performance was as good as we could have hoped for in his first game since April 23. Rotoworld 25 minutes ago

  • Profar’s two-run homer not enough in loss to Cubs
Jurickson Profar went 1-for-4 with a home run and two RBI in Tuesday’s loss to the Cubs.

Advice: Profar blasted a two-run homer off of Shota Imanaga in the eighth inning to give the Padres a 2-1 lead after being stifled by Imanaga through the first seven frames. The veteran left field continues to stay hot at the plate, as he’s now 10-for-23 in the month of May with two homers and eight RBI. Rotoworld 27 minutes ago
  • Alex Verdugo drives in four in win over Astros
Alex Verdugo went 3-for-5 with a homer and four RBI in a 10-3 win over the Astros on Tuesday.

Advice: The home run was Verdugo’s fifth on the season and he now has 17 RBI. The big fly wasn’t a Yankee Stadium blast either, with Verdugo hitting it 383 feet at 107.4 mph off the bat. While many expected a power boost for Verdugo moving to Yankee Stadium, he has just a 3.8 percent barrel rate and his lowest fly ball rate since 2021. His HR/FB rate is up, so Verdugo could easily surpass his 13 home runs from last year, but he’s unlikely to see a major surge. Still, his walk rate is the highest it’s ever been and he’s slashing .275/.362/.450 on the season, which will give him fantasy value if he keeps hitting cleanup behind Juan Soto and Aaron Judge. • Volpe homers in win over Astros
Anthony Volpe went 1-for-5 with a home run and three RBI in a win over the Astros on Tuesday.

Advice: Volpe hit a two-run homer off Justin Verlander in the fourth inning that traveled 354 feet and left the bat at 99.6 mph. He also had a 104.6 mph lineout and is starting to see the ball a little bit better after a long cold streak. Coming into the day, Volpe was slashing just .163/.247/.238 over his previous 20 games with just one home run and a 29 percent strikeout rate. It’s pretty clear that the torrid start to the season was just a hot streak, but Volpe still makes quality contact and has been operating as the Yankees’ leadoff hitter, which will continue to boost his fantasy value. He’ll get hot again but also expect some cold streaks mixed in as he continues to fine-tune his approach at the MLB level. Rotoworld 32 minutes ago

  • Doubles, scores twice in win
Rogers went 2-for-5 with two doubles and two runs scored in Tuesday's 11-7 win over the Guardians.

Advice: Rogers was part of an offensive onslaught for Detroit, and he extended his hitting streak to six games in the process. The catcher is still batting just .194 for the season, though he was batting .125 before his current hitting streak. More concerning is the fact that Rogers only has two home runs through 23 games this year after clubbing 21 long balls in 107 contests last season. However, his recent hot streak provides some hope that the power will come. Rotowire.com 32 minutes ago

  • Vierling has multi-hit game in win
Matt Vierling went 2-for-5 with two RBI in the victory over the Guardians on Tuesday.

Advice: Vierling continues to hit as his .282 average and .155 ISO this year would be career-highs. The Tigers sent Parker Meadows to the minors earlier this week, leaving Vierling and Wenceel Perez as the only viable options in centerfield. Vierling has multiple paths to playing time as even with Perez in the lineup he got the start at third base. He should see everyday at-bats until he cools off, making him an option in deeper formats. • Kyle Tucker homers in loss to Yankees
Kyle Tucker went 1-for-2 with a home run and a walk in a loss to the Yankees.

Advice: Tucker got the scoring started in the first inning with a 399-foot home run off Luis Gil that left the bat at 108.1 mph. It was his 10th home run and 24th RBI of the season, and Tucker is now slashing .279/.396/.566. He’s every bit a first-round pick in all fantasy leagues. Rotoworld 37 minutes ago

  • Rafaela drives in one run on two-hit night
Ceddanne Rafaela went 2-for-4 with one RBI in Tuesday’s loss to the Braves.

Advice: Rafaela singled in the sixth with the bases loaded to score Vaughn Grissom, tying the game at 2-2 after a Reese McGuire walk forced home their first run of the evening. Rafaela is slashing a meager .211/.255/.379 on the year but is batting .263 over the last two weeks. He’s heating up a bit after getting off to a slow start, but shouldn’t be counted on in fantasy outside of the most desperate situations. Rotoworld 38 minutes ago
