    Advice: Refsnyder doubled off Grayson Rodriguez in the first inning before scoring on a Rafael Devers' base hit. He'd then cap the scoring in the ninth with a two-run, 419-foot homer off Keegan Akin to push Boston's lead to 8-3. It's just the second long ball of the year for Refsnyder, his first since April 19, though he's been swinging the bat well of late, going 11-for-29 (.379) in his last 10 contests.     Advice: Busch got the scoring started for the Cubs in the third when he blasted a solo homer 434 feet to center field. The homer marked Busch’s eighth of the season and his first since May 7th.     X-rays on Lindor's left index finger came back negative after he injured it on a bunt attempt during the first game of Tuesday's doubleheader against the Dodgers, Tim Healey of Newsday reports.

    Advice: Despite injuring his finger during the first game of Tuesday's action, Lindor was still able to play in the nightcap and go 1-for-4. The 30-year-old shortstop is dealing with a bit of swelling in his finger, so it's possible he sits down for a day or two until the swelling goes down, but a long-term absence seems unlikely.     Advice: Hampson drove in the Royals’ first run of the night when he singled home Nick Loftin in the fifth inning. It was a tough evening for the Royals, as the heart of their order failed to record a hit, leaving Hampson and the lower third of the order to act as run support.
