• Refsnyder has two hits, HR in win over Orioles
Rob Refsnyder went 2-for-4 with a two-run home run in a win over the Orioles on Tuesday.

Advice: Refsnyder had a 102.2 mph double off of Grayson Rodriguez in the first inning and then clobbered a 419-foot home run in the ninth that left the bat at 105.1 mph. It was his second home run on the season, and he now has 13 RBI to go along with a .347/.437/.547 slash line in 87 plate appearances this season. With Tyler O’Neill visiting a specialist for his troublesome right knee, there is a chance that Refsnyder starts getting more regular at-bats for the Red Sox in the near future. • Francisco Lindor goes deep in loss to Dodgers
Francisco Lindor walloped a two-run homer in the Mets’ extra-inning loss to the Dodgers in the front-end of Tuesday’s doubleheader.

Advice: Lindor’s two-run tater off Dodgers ace Tyler Glasnow represented New York’s lone runs of the contest as they squandered a prime opportunity for a walk-off victory in the ninth inning by wasting a bases-loaded, one-out situation. It was his eighth long ball of the season and lone hit in five at-bats in the extra-inning marathon. Rotoworld Today, 4:01 pm

  • Smacks homer in win
Adames went 2-for-4 with a three-run homer in Monday's victory over the Cubs.

Advice: Adames popped his first home run since May 7 when he crushed a 427-foot, three-run shot off Hayden Wesneski in the eighth inning. The Brewers shortstop hopes the homer turns his month around, as he entered the game slashing .213/.253/.404 over 99 plate appearances in May. Overall, Adames is hitting .249/.322/.440 with eight home runs, 27 runs scored and 35 RBI in 233 plate appearances. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 5:38 pm

  • Adames blasts eighth home run Monday
Willy Adames went 2-for-4 with a three-run home run against the Cubs on Monday.

Advice: Adames came to the plate with two men on and one out in a 1-0 game in the eighth inning. He blasted a Hayden Wesneski offering to center for a no-doubt home run. The home run was Adames’ eighth of the season and he already has a career-high eight stolen bases.

  • Jose Miranda slugs moonshot homer to sink Royals
Jose Miranda clobbered a two-run homer on Monday in the Twins’ victory over the Royals.

Advice: Miranda kicked off the scoring in the third inning of Monday afternoon’s matinee affair at Target Field with a colossal 437-foot drive to left-center field off Royals starter Alec Marsh. It wound up being his lone hit in three at-bats before being lifted from the contest of a defensive replacement. The 25-year-old slugger has started to heat up lately, going deep three times in his last eight contests since May 19. Rotoworld Yesterday, 1:41 pm

  • Joey Meneses heads to bench with Lane Thomas back
Joey Meneses is not in the starting lineup on Monday against the Braves.

Advice: It may just be a routine day off for Meneses, who has started seven straight games. However, it’s also the first game in a month with Lane Thomas back in the lineup, so perhaps there’s something to take note of here. With Thomas back in the lineup against a right-handed pitcher, Eddie Rosario moves to left field and Jesse Winker will DH, which means there’s no room for Meneses. The 32-year-old has hit better than Winker of late so that figures to be the main position battle to watch in the coming days. Rotoworld Yesterday, 11:23 am

  • Michael Busch sits for second straight game
Michael Busch is not in the Cubs’ lineup on Monday against the Brewers.

Advice: With the Brewers throwing a left-handed pitcher, Busch will find himself on the bench; however, he was also on the bench on Sunday. The rookie is hitting 12-for-64 (.188) in May with one home run and a 39.2 percent strikeout rate. If he doesn’t start picking it up soon, it’s fair to wonder how much longer the Cubs will keep him in the starting lineup. Patrick Wisdom will get the start on Monday and has now started three games in a row. He’d likely benefit the most from a decision to dial back on Busch’s playing time. Rotoworld Yesterday, 11:15 am

  • Continues power surge
Seager went 2-for-5 with two home runs and three RBI in Sunday's 6-2 win over the Twins.

Advice: Seager had just two homers through the end of April, but his power swing has returned in a big way. The shortstop has clubbed six homers over his last six games and is now at 11 long balls on the year. He's also gone 13-for-37 (.351) during a 10-game hitting streak. Seager's surge has him up to a .258/.349/.447 slash line with 24 RBI, 25 runs scored, no stolen bases and three doubles through 49 contests overall. Rotowire.com Sunday, 2:40 pm

  • Corey Seager homers twice in win
Corey Seager went 2-for-5 with two home runs and three RBI in the Rangers 6-2 win over the Twins on Sunday.

Advice: Seager is blazing hot right now with six home runs in his last six games after hitting just five in his first 43. There was never any concern with Seager’s bat, but it’s nice to see this power surge after a slow first month. Rotoworld Sunday, 2:31 pm
