    • Keeps mashing
Gonzales went 2-for-5 with a two-run home run during Thursday's 11-7 loss to the Dodgers.

Advice: Gonzales launched his fourth homer of the season, plating Oneil Cruz in the third inning on a two-run shot off Walker Buehler. The second baseman has been red-hot as of late, batting 11-for-30 (.367) with two homers, two doubles and eight RBI in his last seven games. Rotowire.com 10 minutes ago

    • Steals base, logs three hits
Rojas went 3-for-4 with an RBI single, an RBI double and a stolen base during Thursday's 11-7 win over the Pirates.

Advice: Rojas generated three or more hits for the second time this season, with the other coming May 29 against the Mets. He also swiped his third bag of the campaign, taking second base off Bailey Falter and Henry Davis in the first inning. Overall, Rojas is slashing .287/.343/.447 with a 7.8 percent K rate. • Reaches four times, homers
Betts went 2-for-4 with a three-run home run and an additional run during Thursday's 11-7 win over the Pirates.

Advice: Betts' three-run blast capped off a six-run fifth inning for the Dodgers and plated Miguel Vargas and Austin Barnes. The shortstop also drew a pair of walks. Prior to Thursday's outburst, Betts had been 1-for-24 (.042) across six games. Despite the minor cold spell, Betts owns the ninth-best OPS in MLB at .923 with 10 homers and nine stolen bases. • Stays hot in win
Marte went 2-for-4 with a walk and an RBI in Thursday's 4-3 win over San Diego.

Advice: Marte delivered the go-ahead run in the seventh inning when his two-out single plated Corbin Carroll. Marte has rebounded nicely from an 0-for-22 skid in late May, going 11-for-28 (.393) with two home runs, two doubles, six RBI and five runs scored over the last eight contests. The Diamondbacks' offense could get a boost if the struggling Carroll can build off his three-hit performance Thursday, which would give Marte more run-producing opportunities. • Serves as DH on rehab assignment
Perdomo started at designated hitter and went 1-for-4 with an RBI for Triple-A Reno on Thursday.

Advice: Perdomo, who played seven innings at shortstop Wednesday, was in the lineup for a second straight day but got replaced by a pinch hitter after eight innings. Perdomo will continue his rehab assignment through the weekend for Reno and could rejoin the Diamondbacks next week. Arizona begins a homestand Tuesday against the Angels. Rotowire.com Today, 3:57 am

    • Pops three-run homer
Valdez went 1-for-6 with a three-run home run and a walk in Thursday's 14-2 win over the White Sox.

Advice: Valdez turned the game into a romp with his fourth-inning blast. He's hit safely in his last five contests, going 7-for-20 (.350) with three homers and eight RBI in that span. The 25-year-old is slashing just .189/.218/.378 through 120 plate appearances, but he's added five homers, 19 RBI and 13 runs scored across 35 contests. Valdez remains in a starting role at second base while Vaughn Grissom (hamstring) is on the injured list. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 9:07 pm
    • Adael Amador up to six homers in last eight games
Rockies 2B prospect Adael Amador went 2-for-4 with a solo homer and two RBI on Thursday for Double-A Hartford.

Advice: It certainly feels like Amador has heard all of the recent chatter regarding his slow start this season at the plate in the upper minors as he’s exploded for six round-trippers over his last eight games for Triple-A Hartford. The 21-year-old top prospect still has plenty of work to do from a batting average standpoint, but the fact that he’s starting to hit for more over-the-fence pop is an extremely encouraging development. • Torres drives in two in win Thursday
Gleyber Torres went 1-for-4 with a two-run double against the Twins on Thursday.

Advice: Torres gave the Yankees a 4-2 lead with a two-run double with the bases loaded in the third inning. He’s up to 21 RBI on the season now, but he has five RBI in his last three games. Maybe this is the start of Torres turning it around at the plate as he’s hitting .232 in his last season before heading to free agency. Rotoworld Yesterday, 8:21 pm
    • X-rays negative on Nico Hoerner’s hand after HBP
X-rays came back negative on Nico Hoerner’s hand after being hit by a pitch during Thursday’s game against the Reds.

Advice: Hoerner remained in the contest and appears to have avoided serious injury after being plunked on the hand by a 96.5 mph fastball from Reds starter Hunter Greene during the early stages of the game. It doesn’t sound like he’s going to wind up missing any time. Rotoworld Yesterday, 7:44 pm
