    • Goes seven strong to earn win
Eovaldi (3-2) earned the win Sunday, allowing two runs on five hits and a walk over seven innings against the Giants. He struck out five.

Advice: Eovaldi was staked to a 5-0 lead after two and cruised through seven, merely allowing single runs in each of the third and fourth innings as he rolled to his third victory. More importantly, he was also extended to near his full workload, completing seven innings in 90 pitches after tossing 37 and 71 in his previous two starts following a nearly four-week stint on the IL with a groin injury. It was the seventh start out of 10 for Eovaldi with at least five innings while allowing two or fewer runs. He'll carry a 2.68 ERA and 1.09 WHIP into his next start, likely to take place next weekend when the Rangers travel to Seattle for a weekend showdown against the Mariners. Rotowire.com 13 minutes ago
    • Nails six-out win
Jansen (2-1) picked up the win Sunday against the White Sox, allowing one hit and no walks with five strikeouts over two innings.

Advice: Jansen had made just one appearance since May 26, and the Red Sox made use of his fresh arm Sunday, bringing him in for the eighth and ninth innings with Boston trailing by one. The closer went more than one inning for the first time this season and set a career high in strikeouts, surpassing three Ks for the first time since 2017. Jansen is 9-of-10 in save chances and owns a 2.61 ERA on the campaign. Rotowire.com Today, 5:05 pm

    • Daulton Varsho scores twice as Jays defeat A’s
Daulton Varsho singled, was hit by a pitch, stole a base and scored a pair of runs on Sunday as the Blue Jays rallied to defeat the Athletics in extra innings.

Advice: Varsho led off the eighth inning with a single, was sacrificed to second base, swiped third and then scored the game’s tying run on a sacrifice fly off the bat of Davis Schneider. He was then hit by a pitch to load the bases in the 10th inning and raced home on Isiah Kiner-Falefa’s bases-clearing double. For the season, the dynamic 27-year-old outfielder is slashing .217/.306/.453 with 10 homers, 31 RBI and seven stolen bases. Rotoworld Today, 3:46 pm

    • Smacks go-ahead homer
Freeman went 2-for-4 with a three-run home run and an additional run during Sunday's 6-3 win over the Marlins.

Advice: Freeman stepped into the batters box in the seventh with the score tied 2-2 and delivered a three-run home run on the first pitch from A.J. Puk. The long ball was his sixth and marked the second time he's driven in three batters in a game this season. Freeman is slashing .222/.319/.374 with 35 runs scored across 231 plate appearances. • Yields HR in non-save appearance
Clase allowed a solo home run and struck out one during the ninth inning of Sunday's 6-3 win over the Marlins.

Advice: Clase took the mound in the ninth inning despite the Guardians owning a four-run lead, but surrendered a two-out solo homer to Jake Burger during the outing. Considering the score, Clase wasn't eligible for a save, though the Guardians opted to give him his first game action since Tuesday. Burger's long ball was Clase's first earned run allowed since April 14, which spans 24 appearances. Rotowire.com Today, 3:28 pm
    • Homer short of cycle
Westburg went 3-for-5 with a double, a triple and two runs scored during Sunday's 9-2 win over Tampa Bay.

Advice: Westburg hit a triple for the second consecutive game, bringing his season total to five triples -- tied for the fourth most in baseball. The third baseman did most of his damage against the bullpen, with his triple coming off Phil Maton in the eighth inning and notching a single off Pete Fairbanks in the ninth. Westburg is 6-for-14 with a homer, three RBI and three runs over the first three games of the O's four-game set against Tampa Bay. Rotowire.com Today, 2:56 pm

    • Tyler Freeman has two hits, HR in win over MIA
Tyler Freeman went 2-for-4 with a home run and three RBI in a 6-3 win over the Marlins on Sunday.

Advice: Freeman was hitting second in the order with a left-hander on the mound, which is a nice boost to his fantasy value since he had moved down in the order with both Steven Kwan and Andres Gimenez back. Freeman has just 27 RBI on the season, so being able to stay up in the order in some starts will help his counting stats. He also now has six home runs and eight RBI in his first season as a starter and if his .234 BABIP improves, he could be a .250 hitter moving forward as well. That’s a worthy profile in deeper formats. Rotoworld Today, 2:51 pm

    • Needs third rehab start
Cole (elbow) said after Sunday's rehab outing with Double-A Somerset that he'll require at least one additional rehab start, Chris Kirschner of The Athletic reports. The right-hander allowed one run on two hits with four strikeouts and no walks over 4.2 innings.

Advice: Cole threw 44 of 57 pitches for strikes in his second rehab appearance Sunday as he continues building up his workload while coming back from nerve irritation in his elbow. The 33-year-old is trending toward a season debut in late June at the latest, though an exact return date won't come into focus until it's determined how many rehab outings are necessary. • Eovaldi looks solid in win over Giants
Nathan Eovaldi allowed two runs on five hits in seven innings in a win over the Giants on Sunday.

Advice: Eovaldi also struck out five and walked one on the day. He pounded the zone regularly on the day with a 37 percent CSW and 24 percent whiff rate and his only real mistake was a solo home run to Mike Yastrzemski. The veteran will take a 2.68 ERA into a good start against the Mariners next week. Rotoworld Today, 12:30 pm
