    • Senga (shoulder) throws 32 pitches in live BP
Kodai Senga (shoulder) threw 32 pitches in his live bullpen session Saturday.

Advice: Senga has now faced live hitters twice this week. The Mets will now determine the next steps for the right-hander in the coming days, as they want to see how he responds before deciding when he’ll begin a rehab assignment. There’s a very good chance he does begin that assignment at this point, however, and he’s on track to make his return around May 27 — the earliest Senga can be activated off the 60-day IL. • Luis Rengifo (illness) remains out Sunday
Luis Rengifo (illness) is not in the lineup Sunday against the Guardians.

Advice: Rengifo was not able to play Saturday due to illness, and the 27-year-old will get at least one more day off. Cole Tucker will get a start at third base and hit eighth while Rengifo gets better. Rotoworld Today, 7:45 am

    • Remains out with illness
Rengifo (illness) is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Guardians.

Advice: He'll be withheld from the starting nine for the second day in a row while recovering from an illness. Rengifo has been playing on a near-everyday basis of late while toggling between second base and third base, but he'll give way to Brandon Drury at the keystone and Cole Tucker at the hot corner for Sunday's series finale. • Crushed by Rangers
Wacha (1-4) took the loss against Texas on Saturday, allowing seven runs on nine hits and one walk while striking out three batters over 3.2 innings.

Advice: Wacha exited with two outs in the fourth inning after giving up singles to four of the final five batters he faced. The seven runs were a season high for the right-hander, while his three punchouts tied a season low. Wacha was doing fine with a 3.81 ERA through his first five starts this season, but that number has since ballooned to 5.50 as a result of the veteran hurler giving up 11 earned runs over 9.1 innings across his past two appearances. • Homers twice in third inning
Rooker went 3-for-5 with two home runs and five RBI in Saturday's 20-4 victory over the Marlins.

Advice: HE became the first Athletics player to homer twice in the same inning since Mark McGwire did it in September of 1996. Rooker did it during Oakland's 10-run third inning Saturday, taking starter Trevor Rogers deep with a two-run shot and then reliever Darren McCaughan over the boards with a three-run blast. He also added a single and a walk. Rooker is up to eight home runs on the season even after going on the injured list last month. Of course, he's also hitting just .240 and striking out at a 36.5 percent rate, but fantasy managers knew what they were getting into with Rooker and should be satisfied with the returns 22 games in. • Michael Wacha lit up for seven runs in loss
Michael Wacha was torched for a season-high seven runs over 3 2/3 innings on Saturday in a loss to the Rangers.

Advice: Wacha was lit up for nine hits in this one, which makes it even more remarkable that none of them wound up leaving the yard. The 32-year-old righty struck out three and only issued one walk. He’ll aim for better results his next time out on Thursday against the Angels in Los Angeles. Rotoworld Yesterday, 8:48 pm
    • In line to start Tuesday
Sanchez will start Tuesday against the Blue Jays, Alex Coffey of The Philadelphia Inquirer reports.

Advice: Sanchez was available in relief for Saturday's game, but because he wasn't needed, he's now set up to start Tuesday. Meanwhile, Spencer Turnbull will be available in relief Sunday in what could wind up being a piggyback situation with Taijuan Walker. The roles of all three pitchers seem somewhat in flux. • Brent Rooker powers A’s in 20-run explosion
Brent Rooker went 3-for-4 with two homers and five RBI in a 20-4 win over the Marlins on Saturday.

Advice: With a runner on in the third inning, Rooker took Trevor Rogers deep for a two-run homer. The A’s would bat around the order, adding five more runs before Rooker blasted a three-run shot for his second of the inning in Oakland’s offensive explosion. He added a walk and a base hit, ending his day slashing .240/.329/.600 with eight homers and 20 RBI across 85 plate appearances. Rotoworld Yesterday, 7:25 pm

    • Luis Rengifo sits due to illness on Saturday
Luis Rengifo was held out of the Angels’ starting lineup on Saturday due to illness.

Advice: The versatile 27-year-old has been under the weather for a couple of days, so skipper Ron Washington thought it was best to give him a night off. Brandon Drury returned to the Angels lineup to play second base on Saturday while Ehire Adrianza will cover third base and bat second for the Halos against Ben Lively and the Guardians.
