      Muncy (oblique) said Sunday he's been shut down from swinging for the past 7-to-10 days after he felt a "twinge" around his rib cage, Mike DiGiovanna of the Los Angeles Times reports.

      Advice: The 33-year-old landed on the injured list in mid-May with the oblique strain and doesn't appear to have made significant progress in his recovery. Per David Vassegh of AM 570 LA Sports, Muncy was able to field groundballs Sunday but is shut down from most baseball activities, so he's likely not particularly close to rejoining the Dodgers.       Max Muncy (oblique) told reporters Sunday that he remains without a timetable to return to the Dodgers.

      Advice: Muncy felt something while swinging a bat around a week ago and has been shut down from all baseball activities. The 33-year-old has been on the injured list with an oblique strain May 17 with some hope that it’d be a short-term stint, but obviously that wasn’t/isn’t the case.       Santander went 2-for-3 with a solo home run, a walk and two total runs scored in Saturday's 9-5 win over the Rays.

      Advice: Santander has started to look more like himself, going 9-for-32 (.281) with three homers over his last nine contests. For the year, he's slashing .218/.300/.440 with 10 homers, 30 RBI, 29 runs scored, 11 doubles, one triple and no stolen bases. Santander has been plagued by a .224 BABIP this year, so it's no surprise his overall numbers are down, but it's a reason for optimism that he'll be able to turn things around.       Gurriel (illness) will start in left field and bat third Sunday against the Mets.

      Advice: The veteran outfielder was scratched from Saturday's lineup due to flu-like symptoms, but he's back in the starting nine for Sunday's series finale in Queens.       Swanson went 1-for-3 with a walk, a two-run home run and an additional run scored in Saturday's 7-5 win against Cincinnati.

      Advice: Swanson started June off on the right foot after only going deep once in 17 games all of last month. The shortstop has only five total home runs this season, but he also missed some time with knee soreness, which likely contributed to the slow start. If fully healthy, Swanson has the ability to get going in the power department, as he hit 20 or more long balls in each of the last three seasons with the Cubs and Atlanta.       Keller (7-3) picked up the win Saturday, allowing one run on five hits and a walk over six innings in an 8-1 victory over the Blue Jays. He struck out eight.

      Advice: The right-hander has been overshadowed by the debuts of Paul Skenes and Jared Jones this season, but Keller has been the Pirates' most dependable starter. He's won five straight starts, posting a 1.34 ERA. 0.92 WHIP and 27:5 K:BB in 33.2 innings over that stretch, and Saturday's quality start was his seventh of the year.       Dansby Swanson went 1-for-3 with a walk, two runs scored and a two-run home run against the Reds on Saturday.

      Advice: Swanson’s two-run home run in the eighth inning was the difference in the Cubs’ 7-5 victory over the Reds. It was his fifth home run of the season. Swanson is due to improve at the plate at some point as his .208 batting average is the worst of his career and his .131 ISO is his worst since his first full MLB campaign in 2017.       Ramirez went 2-for-4 with two runs scored and a stolen base in a 3-2 win over the Nationals on Saturday.

      Advice: Ramirez singled and came around to score in the first then stole second and scored from there on a wild pitch in the third.     • Garrett Crochet strikes out eight in no-decision
      Garrett Crochet held the Brewers to one run over six innings while striking out eight Saturday in a no-decision for the White Sox.

      Advice: Crochet scattered five hits with one walk. The left-hander continues to impress even while playing for arguably the worst team in baseball, and he’s struck out 19 over his last two outings while allowing just three runs over 12 innings. Any question that Crochet has the stuff to succeed as a starter was pretty silly, but it should have been answered now. The questions of whether he can handle the modern rigors remain in doubt, but right now, Crochet is an excellent fantasy option even if the wins won’t come.
