      Advice: Sewald has been nigh unhittable lately, allowing just one baserunner over his past six appearances. The 34-year-old veteran has not allowed an earned run since his season debut back on May 7 and he is now a perfect five-for-five in save opportunities with a microscopic 1.08 ERA and 0.48 WHIP in 8.1 innings.       Advice: Sewald seems to relish the opportunity to close games against the organization that gave up on him and did so on back-to-back days this weekend.       Garrett Crochet held the Brewers to one run over six innings while striking out eight Saturday in a no-decision for the White Sox.

      Advice: Crochet scattered five hits with one walk. The left-hander continues to impress even while playing for arguably the worst team in baseball, and he’s struck out 19 over his last two outings while allowing just three runs over 12 innings. Any question that Crochet has the stuff to succeed as a starter was pretty silly, but it should have been answered now. The questions of whether he can handle the modern rigors remain in doubt, but right now, Crochet is an excellent fantasy option even if the wins won’t come.       Crochet didn't factor into the decision in an extra-inning loss to the Brewers on Saturday, allowing one run on five hits and a walk over six innings. He struck out eight.

      Advice: Crochet's now logged quality starts in five of his last six outings, posting a stellar 1.03 ERA in that span (35 innings). The 24-year-old left-hander continues to provide a bright spot on a rebuilding White Sox team -- Crochet's ERA is down to 3.49 on the year with a 0.93 WHIP and 93 strikeouts, good for second most in the league.       Advice: Romano was placed on the 15-day injured list with inflammation in his throwing elbow, but he appears to have avoided a significant injury. The 31-year-old will be shut down from throwing for a few days before Toronto will determine what direction the team will go from there.       Advice: Romano was unavailable for Friday's 5-3 victory over the Pirates due to right elbow soreness and he'll now be forced to miss a couple weeks of action while nursing the injury. The 31-year-old produced a 9.00 ERA and 1.88 WHIP over eight innings, while suffering a blown save and being tagged with a pair of losses in nine appearances with Toronto in May, so the time off could serve as a reset button for him. In the meantime, left-hander Brendon Little was called up from Triple-A Buffalo on Saturday to replace him on the major-league roster.       Advice: Aaron Judge did most of the damage against Hicks, taking him deep for a three-run home run in the third inning and a solo shot in the sixth. The five runs allowed were the most Hicks has given up in a start this season, though it was a positive to see him issue no walks for the fourth time in 12 outings. Homers are becoming a problem for the right-hander -- he's allowed five of them over his last four starts after giving up just one across his first eight outings.
