He's been an RBI machine this season, racking up 10 over his last six games, giving him 29 on the year. He trails only Atlanta's Marcell Ozuna on the RBI leaderboard.     Diaz (0-1) took the loss Monday against the Cubs, allowing two runs on two hits with three strikeouts across one inning.

    Advice: Diaz spoiled Luis Severino's eight-inning gem, allowing a double to Mike Tauchman and a two-run home run to Christopher Morel in the final frame to put the Cubs ahead 3-1, where the score would remain. The loss was Diaz's first true blemish of the campaign, being a perfect 4-for-4 in save chances with no prior losses.     Sanchez allowed four runs on seven hits and two walks over five-plus innings in a no-decision Monday. He struck out one during the loss to the Angels.

    Advice: Sanchez gave up a run in each of the first two innings. He then kept the Angels quiet until he was charged with two more runs without recording an out in the sixth. It was the first time this season Sanchez has allowed more than three earned runs in an outing. He tied his lowest strikeout total and forced just a single swinging strike in the subpar performance.   • Ronald Acuña Jr. steal two bags against Mariners
    Ronald Acuña Jr. stole two bases and scored a run in a loss to the Mariners on Monday.

    Advice: After breaking up Bryce Miller’s no-hitter, Acuña swiped second base to get into scoring position, and then took advantage of Seattle not paying attention by getting to third. He scored what looked to be the go-ahead run on a double from Ozzie Albies, but the Mariners were able to score two in the ninth to get the win.   • Mitch Garver hits walk-off homer to beat Atlanta
    Mitch Garver hit a walk-off two-run homer to give Seattle a 2-1 win over Atlanta on Monday.

    Advice: Garver has easily his biggest hit as a member of the Mariners. The 33-year-old DH took a 3-2 offering from AJ Minter deep into the left-field stands with the team trailing by a run in the bottom of the ninth to give Seattle an improbable victory. Gaver has been awful in 2024 with a .150 average, but it didn’t matter tonight. It likely won’t matter as long as he can stay healthy; the offensive track-record suggests more good things are coming.   • AJ Minter allows walk-off homer to blow save
    AJ Minter blew a save by allowing two runs without recording an out Monday against Seattle while picking up a loss.

    Advice: Minter was handed a one-run lead, and the southpaw allowed a base hit to Jorge Polanco before Mitch Garver took the southpaw deep on a 3-2 pitch to give Seattle the win. Minter has been an excellent high-leverage option for Atlanta, but this one will hurt fantasy managers who have the 30-year-old on the roster. Rotoworld 14 minutes ago
     
  • Bryce Miller whiffs 10 over seven scoreless
    Bryce Miller allowed just a run on two hits in seven innings of work with 10 strikeouts, but still took a no-decision against Atlanta on Monday.

    Advice: Miller was outstanding, as he was perfect through the first five frames before issuing a walk in the sixth. His no-hitter was broken up in the seventh by Ronald Acuna Jr;, and after Acuna Jr. stole second and third base, Ozzie Albies doubled in the go-ahead — and ultimately — winning record. It’s a disappointing ending, but it showed off the swing-and-miss stuff and vastly improved command that he’s shown in 2024. The Seattle rotation is phenomenal. The offense is another thing.   • Max Fried hurls six no-hit innings against Seattle
    Max Fried hurled six no-hit innings with seven strikeouts in a no-decision Monday against the Mariners.

    Advice: Fried did walk two, and unfortunately for the southpaw he needed exactly 100 pitches to get through the six frames. Otherwise there’s a good chance this could’ve been a no-no, as the Mariners were absolutely dominated by the 30-year-old. This comes after Fried was able to get a complete-game shutout, to say he’s pitching well lately is quite the understatement. He has lowered his ERA from 7.71 to 4.02 in the process, and will try and lower it again Sunday against the Dodgers in Los Angeles. Rotoworld 14 minutes ago

    Boyle (2-4) yielded a run on one hit and four walks over five innings Monday, striking out four and earning a win over the Pirates.

    Advice: Boyle was charged with a run on a wild pitch in the first inning but otherwise didn't face much trouble. However, his command still continues to cause issues; he threw just 45 of 91 pitches for strikes, including only six whiffs. Boyle now owns a chaotic 28:20 K:BB with a 6.08 ERA through 26.2 innings (six starts). He's completed over five innings just one time this season.
