    • Gunnar Henderson gets day off Tuesday vs. ATL
Gunnar Henderson is not in the lineup for Tuesday’s game against Atlanta.

Advice: Henderson has played in all 65 games thus far, but at least to begin the game, he’ll take a seat for the opener against Atlanta. Jordan Westburg is leading off for the Orioles, and Jorge Mateo (concussion) is off the injured list to get the start at shortstop. Henderson should be back in action Wednesday. • Getting breather Tuesday
Henderson is out of the lineup for Tuesday's game against Atlanta, David O'Brien of The Athletic reports.

Advice: Henderson will get his first day off of the season after appearing in each of the Orioles' first 65 games of 2024. The breather comes on the 12th day of a streak of 17 straight games. Jorge Mateo (concussion) was activated from the 7-day IL and will start at shortstop and bat sixth. Rotowire.com Today, 12:15 pm
    • Cracks leadoff homer in win
Henderson went 3-for-5 with a solo home run and three runs scored in Monday's 5-2 win over the Rays.

Advice: Henderson crushed the first pitch of the game 430 feet for his 21st homer of the season and ninth career leadoff blast. The Orioles shortstop has been scorching hot in June, hitting .350 (14-for-40) with three homers, 13 runs scored and five RBI this month. Overall, Henderson is slashing .274/.375/.599 in 296 plate appearances this season. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 7:03 pm
    • Gunnar Henderson hits 21st homer in win over Rays
Gunnar Henderson went 3-for-5 with his 21st home run of the season on Monday, leading the Orioles to a 5-2 victory over the Rays.

Advice: Henderson led off the contest with a gargantuan 430-foot moonshot to straightaway center field -- his seventh leadoff homer of the season -- to give the Orioles an early advantage and put him just three round-trippers behind Yankees superstar Aaron Judge, who leads the majors with 24 big flies. He also added a pair of additional hits, including a double, to cap off a stellar three-hit performance. It was his fifth three-hit effort of the year and 20th multi-hit game. The 22-year-old fantasy stalwart has been on an absolute tear since the start of June, batting .350 (14-for-40) with three homers and one steal over 10 games during that span. • Two more steals Sunday
Rengifo went 2-for-4 with two steals and a run in Sunday's 9-7 win over the Angels. He was also hit by a pitch.

Advice: Rengifo ended a mini 0-for-8 skid at the plate with two hits Sunday and managed to swipe two more bags to bring him up to 17 for the year. Rengifo already has five steals in eight games this month and now sits tied for sixth in baseball. He now has eight multi-hit efforts over his last 18 games and continues to be one of the most consistent hitters in the Angels' lineup. The 27-year-old is now slashing .316/.367/.448 with four homers, 18 RBI, 25 runs and a 12:27 BB:K in 189 plate appearances. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 8:26 am

    • Luis Rengifo swipes two bases as Angels top Astros
Luis Rengifo continued his thieving ways in Sunday’s victory over the Astros, going 2-for-4 with a run scored and a pair of stolen bases.

Advice: Rengifo led off the fifth inning with a single off of Justin Verlander, swiped second base and then raced around to score on an RBI single by Willie Calhoun. He also reached on an error in the ninth inning and nabbed second again, but was ultimately stranded there. The versatile 27-year-old entered the season with 18 career stolen bases through his first 448 ballgames. This season, he has already swiped 17 bags in his first 49 games while hitting a robust .316/.367/.448 with four homers and 18 RBI. Rotoworld Sunday, 4:54 pm

    • Homer short of cycle
Westburg went 3-for-5 with a double, a triple and two runs scored during Sunday's 9-2 win over Tampa Bay.

Advice: Westburg hit a triple for the second consecutive game, bringing his season total to five triples -- tied for the fourth-most in baseball. The third baseman did most of his damage against the bullpen, with his triple coming off Phil Maton in the eighth inning and his final hit (a single) coming off Pete Fairbanks in the ninth. Westburg is 6-for-14 with a homer, three RBI and three runs over the first three games of the O's four-game set against Tampa Bay. Rotowire.com Sunday, 2:56 pm

He's gone 0-for-8 over the last two games after opening June with a five-game hitting streak. The infielder is slashing .312/.361/.447 with four home runs, 18 RBI and 24 runs scored over 48 contests as one of the top hitters in the Angels' lineup. Rotowire.com Saturday, 10:59 pm

    • Reaches 20 homers
Henderson went 1-for-4 with a three-run home run and a walk in a 5-0 win against Tampa Bay on Saturday.

Advice: Henderson iced the game for Baltimore in the ninth inning, swatting a three-run shot to right field to give the team a 5-0 lead. The long ball was his 20th of the campaign, second most in the majors behind Aaron Judge. Henderson has reached base safely via hit or walk in 17 straight games and is batting .258 with four home runs, 11 RBI, 14 runs, a stolen base and an 18:20 BB:K during that span.
