    • Carlos Correa with two hits in loss
Carlos Correa went 2-for-4 with a double, RBI, and run scored on Sunday against the Rangers.

Advice: Don’t look now, but Correa is quietly putting together a strong season. He’s hitting .279 with an .833 OPS, good for about 40% better than league average, with the batted ball quality to match. He’s also running the highest BB% of his career and once again looks like a solid run producer in the middle of the Twins’ lineup. Rotoworld Sunday, 2:30 pm

    • Oneil Cruz gets breather against Atlanta on Sunday
Oneil Cruz is not in the starting lineup Sunday against Atlanta.

Advice: Cruz will get a break from the lineup for the first time in seven games. The talented shortstop will receive his breather with Alika Williams getting the start at shortstop against Chris Sale and Atlanta. Rotoworld Sunday, 9:11 am

    • Receiving breather Sunday
Cruz is out of the lineup for Sunday's game versus Atlanta, Kevin Gorman of TribLive.com reports.

Advice: Lefty Chris Sale is taking the mound Sunday for Atlanta, and Cruz will head to the bench after starting the previous six games. The shortstop has been scuffling at the plate recently with a .488 OPS and 43.6 percent strikeout rate in his past nine contests. Alika Williams is starting at shortstop and batting ninth Sunday. • Carlos Correa goes 2-for-4 against Rangers in win
Carlos Correa went 2-for-4 with a double against the Rangers in Friday’s win.

Advice: Correa’s single checked in at 113.9 mph, making it his hardest-hit ball of the season by three mph. The double was pretty good, too; it was hit 390 feet and would have been a homer in 16 parks, according to Statcast. Correa is at .276/.366/.466 in 134 plate appearances this season. It’s not thrilling, but it is very good in a year in which offense is down. Rotoworld Friday, 10:05 pm

    • Launches fourth home run
Correa went 1-for-4 with a solo home run in Wednesday's 3-2 win over the Nationals.

Advice: Correa extended Minnesota's lead to 2-0 with two outs in the sixth inning with a solo shot off Jake Irvin, his fourth of the year and second in three days. The 29-year-old Correa has a hit in five straight games, going 5-for-17 with a 1.133 OPS in that span. He's now slashing .268/.362/.455 on the season with 13 RBI and 18 runs scored through 130 plate appearances. Rotowire.com Thursday, 7:40 am

    • Oneil Cruz sets Statcast record on 3 hits in win
Oneil Cruz went 3-for-5 with one RBI in a win over the Giants on Tuesday.

Advice: All three of Cruz’s hits were blasted with a 121.5 mph double, a 120.4 mph single, and a 116.3 mph double. He’s now the first player in the Statcast era to have three hits in one game over 115 mph, and his 121.5 mph double is the hardest-hit ball in MLB action this year, topping the 120.4 mph single he hit earlier in the game today. That’s quite a performance. Cruz is 19-for-64 (.297) in May with four home runs, 10 runs scored, and 11 RBI. He does have 18 strikeouts in 16 games, but his production has certainly started to tick up and if stolen bases follow, we could see a full breakout. Rotoworld Tuesday, 7:24 pm

    • Carlos Correa blasts homer in loss to Nationals
Carlos Correa clubbed a two-run homer on Monday in the Twins’ blowout loss to the Nationals.

Advice: Correa walloped a two-run shot off Nationals starter Mitchell Parker in the sixth inning, but it did little to alter the outcome of Monday’s series opener. It was just his third round-tripper of the season. The 29-year-old shortstop is batting .267/.361/.419 with 16 runs scored, three homers and 12 RBI in 122 plate appearances. Rotoworld May 20, 6:47 pm
