    • Generates quality start
Rodon (4-2) picked up the win Tuesday against Minnesota, allowing one run on six hits and no walks during six innings. He struck out six.

Advice: Rodon turned in his fourth quality start of his last five appearances and didn't issue a four-ball walk for a third straight contest. The lone run charged against him came via a Ryan Jeffers homer in the bottom of the first. After posting a 6.85 ERA in his first season in New York, Rodon has bounced back with a 3.31 ERA through nine starts and is tied for the team lead in wins. Rodon is scheduled to close out a two-start week with a Sunday start against the White Sox -- the team he played his first seven seasons with. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 11:16 pm

    • Hunter Greene goes seven to win in Arizona
Hunter Greene lasted seven innings and allowed two runs in the Reds’ 6-2 defeat of the Diamondbacks on Tuesday.

Advice: Greene walked nine in his previous two starts, but he issued just one free pass tonight. He also went without giving up a homer, though Corbin Carroll’s shot to right to lead off the bottom of the first would have been a homer had the game been played in Cincinnati, rather than Arizona. Greene improved to 2-2 with a 3.27 ERA. In spite of his success, the Reds are just 2-7 in his starts. Rotoworld Yesterday, 10:52 pm
    • Rodón solid through six as Yankees down Twins
Carlos Rodón allowed one earned run over six innings while striking out six and earning the win on Tuesday against the Twins.

Advice: Rodón gave up a leadoff homer to Ryan Jeffers in the first inning but settled in nicely after. Three of the six hits he allowed came in the first inning, as he went on to scatter just three more hits over the following five frames. He lowered his ERA on the season to 3.31 and is now sitting on a 4-2 record through nine starts. He’ll look to pick up his fifth win of the season on Sunday against the White Sox. • Sitting versus southpaw
Julien is not in the lineup for Tuesday's game against the Yankees.

Advice: With left-handed Carlos Rodon toeing the rubber for the Yankees, the lefty-swinging Julien will yield to Kyle Farmer at second base. Julien has made just two starts versus southpaws this season. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 12:12 pm
    • Sitting out first game
Ruiz is absent from the lineup for the first game of Tuesday's doubleheader versus the White Sox.

Advice: Riley Adams will do the catching for Trevor Williams. Ruiz will likely be back in there for the nightcap, when Mitchell Parker will be on the mound for the Nationals. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 11:10 am
    • Collects sixth save
Munoz earned a save against the Royals on Monday, striking out three batters in 1.1 perfect innings.

Advice: Munoz was summoned from the bullpen in the top of the eighth inning with two outs, Seattle up by two runs and the tying run at the plate. He struck out Nelson Velazquez to end the threat, then got some stress reduction when the Mariners' offense put up two runs in the bottom of the frame. From there, Munoz closed things out without incident, fanning two of the three batters he squared off against in the ninth frame. The save was his sixth of the season and first since April 30, though no other Seattle pitcher recorded a save in the meantime. Munoz has looked great since his lone blown save of the campaign April 21, tossing 9.1 scoreless frames during which he's posted a 10:1 K:BB across eight appearances. • Strikes out seven in no-decision
Montgomery allowed three runs on six hits and three walks while striking out seven over 5.1 innings in a no-decision versus the Reds on Monday.

Advice: Montgomery turned in an okay outing, missing out on a quality start for the second time in five games for the Diamondbacks. He's pitched to a 4.76 ERA, 1.38 WHIP and 17:9 K:BB over 28.1 innings this season. Montgomery's had a bit of trouble racking up strikeouts so far as he's had to get up to speed on the job after signing with Arizona in late March. He's projected to make his next start at home versus the Tigers. Rotowire.com Monday, 11:16 pm
    • Jordan Montgomery shaky in start against Reds
Jordan Montgomery allowed three runs over 5 1/3 innings while not qualifying for a decision against the Reds on Monday.

Advice: Montgomery allowed six hits with three walks, and he was able to strike out seven. He allowed a two-run double in the second inning to Spencer Steer, and the third run came after the southpaw had left the contest on a Mike Ford single. This wasn’t close to the strong outing he had Wednesday against the Reds, but there were some good moments and a few punchouts to help. He’s now the owner of a 4.76 ERA, with a chance to lower that number against the Tigers on Sunday. Rotoworld Monday, 10:04 pm
    • Andrés Muñoz strikes out three in four-out save
Andrés Muñoz struck out three while going 1 1/3 scoreless innings Monday to get a save against the Royals.

Advice: The Mariners won this game by four runs, but because the right-hander came in with the score 4-2, he still gets credit for the save. That’s the sixth of the season for the 25-year-old, and he’s lowered his ERA to an aesthetically pleasing 1.62 in the process. Muñoz has been one of the best relievers in baseball for the first quarter of the season, and it should continue through the summer months. Rotoworld Monday, 9:17 pm
