    • Masyn Winn extends hitting streak to 17 games
Masyn Winn went 1-for-5 with two RBI in a 7-1 win over the Reds on Tuesday.

Advice: His sixth-inning double was 106 mph off the bar and extended his hitting streak to 17 games. The 22-year-old is 22-for-64 (.344) over that stretch with two home runs, 10 RBI, and three steals. He has been leading off consistently against left-handed pitching, but if the Cardinals decide to move him up in the order full-time, he could see a big fantasy boost with the likely improvement to his counting stats. • Improves to 6-2
Bello (6-2) earned the win Tuesday over the Orioles, allowing three runs on five hits and two walks over five innings. He struck out seven.

Advice: Baltimore got to Bello early Tuesday, scoring three runs in the opening frame, before the right-hander settled in and blanked the Orioles over his subsequent four frames while allowing just one additional hit. It's the fifth win for Bello in his last six starts. His ERA sits at 4.18 through nine outings (47.1 innings) this year with a 1.18 WHIP and 44:15 K:BB. Bello's tentatively in line for a second start this week Sunday at home versus Detroit. Rotowire.com 24 minutes ago

    • Iván Herrera has three hits in win over Reds
Iván Herrera went 3-for-5 with an RBI in a win over the Reds on Tuesday.

Advice: The 23-year-old has taken over as the Cardinals’ starting catcher after the Willson Contreras injury and was also hitting clean-up on Tuesday. Nothing Herrera hit was over 84 mph on the day, but a hit is a hit in the box score. He now has a .276/.344/.362 triple slash with 16 RBI and will continue to be worth rostering in two-catcher formats while Contreras is out. Rotoworld 27 minutes ago

    • Will Benson homers in loss to Cardinals
Will Benson went 1-for-1 with a walk and a solo home run in a loss to the Cardinals on Tuesday.

Advice: In one game, we saw the pluses and minuses of the Will Benson experience. He hit a solo home run off Kyle Gibson but was lifted for a pinch hitter in the eighth inning with a left-handed reliever on the mound. The 25-year-old flashed some intriguing power and speed upside last year, but he now has a .199/.300/.416 triple slash and the Reds are happy to remove him in the middle of a game when a lefty comes in. That makes it hard to roster him in fantasy leagues. Rotoworld 31 minutes ago

    • Kyle Gibson keeps Reds bats in check in win
Kyle Gibson allowed just one run on two hits in six innings in a win over the Reds on Tuesday.

Advice: Gibson struck out six and walked one and the only real damage was a solo home run to Will Benson in the sixth inning. The 36-year-old posted an impressive 15 whiffs for a 34 percent whiff rate and 34 percent CSW. Gibson used all six of his pitches on the night, and had a 38 percent whiff rate on the sweeper while his cutter pounded the strike zone for a 41 percent CSW. The veteran now has a 3.60 ERA on the season but gets a tough start on the road against the Astros next week. Rotoworld 36 minutes ago

    • Andrew Abbott hit hard in loss to Cardinals
Andrew Abbott allowed six runs on seven hits in six innings in a loss to the Cardinals on Tuesday.

Advice: It was only a matter of time before there was a rough start for the left-hander who came into the day with a 2.68 ERA but a 4.38 SIERA and just an 8.3 percent swinging strike rate. His sweeper performed well on Tuesday, but the rest of his arsenal lagged behind a bit and while he didn’t get hit overly hard, he had just an 18 percent whiff rate and 23 percent CSW on the day. He’ll now take a 3.29 ERA into a game in Coors Field next week. He’s a very risky start there. Rotoworld 39 minutes ago

    • Suffers bruised leg
X-rays on Pasquantino's lower left leg came back negative after he collided with Byron Buxton during Tuesday's game against the Twins.

Advice: Pasquantino had to come out of the game after taking a knee to the shin in the third inning, but he appears to have escaped the incident with no more than a bruise. The Royals are officially listing the 26-year-old first baseman as day-to-day, though he may sit out a game or two as a precaution. Rotowire.com 41 minutes ago
    • X-rays negative on Vinnie Pasquantino’s leg
X-rays came back negative on Vinnie Pasquantino’s left leg.

Advice: Pasquantino is officially day-to-day with a lower left leg contusion. It’s a massive relief for the Royals, and fantasy managers, as the 26-year-old first baseman appears to have avoided serious injury following a collision with Twins center fielder Byron Buxton during Tuesday’s contest in Minnesota. It’s possible he’ll get a couple days off to recover, but is unlikely to require an extended absence. Rotoworld 43 minutes ago
    • Day off Tuesday
Bohm isn't in the Phillies' lineup for Tuesday's game against San Francisco, Todd Zolecki of MLB.com reports.

Advice: Bohm is batting .311 on the season, but he will get a day to regroup Tuesday after going 6-for-30 (.200) across his last seven contests. Kody Clemens will fill in at the hot corner and bat eighth. Rotowire.com 50 minutes ago
