      Advice: The man they call J-Rod clobbered a cutter that didn’t cut from Nathan Eovaldi into the left-field bleachers to make it 3-0 in the third inning. It’s just the seventh homer of the season for the 23-year-old, but it’s worth noting he’s gone deep in two of the last three games.       Colt Keith went 4-for-6 with a solo home run in a win over the Astros on Saturday.

      Advice: Keith is now 6-for-9 in the first two games of the series. The home run was his third of the season and accounted for his 20th RBI. While those numbers aren’t anything to write home about, Keith has some legitimate power at the minor league level.     • Jazz Chisholm Jr. gets rare day off on Saturday
      Jazz Chisholm Jr. is not in the lineup for Saturday’s showdown against the division-rival Nationals.

      Advice: It’s a rare day off for Chisholm, who has made an appeares in 68 of 69 contests this season for Miami.
