    • Michael King hurls five scoreless to beat D-backs
Michael King struck out five over five shutout innings on Friday in a win over the Diamondbacks.

Advice: King received double-digit run support from San Diego’s offense and was able to cruise to a relatively easy win, scattering four hits and one walk over five spotless frames. The 29-year-old righty has been phenomenal of late, allowing three earned runs or fewer in six of his last seven starts since May 4. He’ll carry a sharp 3.58 ERA, 1.22 WHIP and 83/32 K/BB ratio across 78 innings (14 appearances, 13 starts) into an extremely favorable matchup on Wednesday afternoon against the rebuilding Athletics. • Sharp in win
King (5-4) allowed four hits and one walk while striking out five over five scoreless innings to earn the win Friday over the Diamondbacks.

Advice: King wasn't all that efficient, needing 98 pitches (63 strikes) to get through five games, but that's the only knock on his performance. He's been excellent over his last three starts, allowing just two runs on 11 hits and four walks with 16 strikeouts over his last 17 innings. King is at a 3.58 ERA, 1.22 WHIP and 83:32 K:BB through 78 innings across 14 appearances (13 starts). The right-hander will look to keep it rolling in his next start, tentatively projected to come at home versus the Athletics. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 10:18 pm

    • Picks up win
Scott (5-4) struck out two batters over 1.2 perfect frames and earned a win over the Guardians on Friday.

Advice: Scott entered a tie game in the eighth inning and forced a double play to escape the first-and-third jam he inherited. He then struck out two in the ninth inning before Miami walked it off in the bottom of the frame. After some early season struggles, Scott has now gone 18 straight innings without allowing an earned run. His season ERA has fallen to 1.40 with a 27:19 K:BB through 25.2 innings. • Tanner Scott notches fifth win for Marlins
Tanner Scott pitched 1 2/3 scoreless innings and notched a win in relief Friday against the Guardians.

Advice: Scott came into a tie game in the eighth and stayed in to finish after the Marlins took a one-run lead. It’s his fifth win of the year, all coming since Apr. 30. Even though he’s very much Miami’s closer, he has just three saves during that same five-week span. Rotoworld Yesterday, 7:13 pm

    • Finnegan picks up 17th save against Braves Friday
Kyle Finnegan tossed a scoreless ninth inning and picked up the save against the Braves on Friday.

Advice: The save was Finnegan’s 17th of the season. He added two strikeouts in the process. His ERA is now 1.80 on the season. Finnegan has come out of nowhere to be one of the best closers in all of fantasy this season. Rotoworld Yesterday, 7:10 pm
    • Up to 17 saves
Finnegan earned the save Friday in a 2-1 win over Atlanta, striking out a pair in a scoreless ninth inning.

Advice: Finnegan is now 17-for-19 in save chances this year, tied for fourth-most in the majors. The right-hander's allowed just two earned runs in his last 23 appearances (23.1 innings), lowering his ERA to 1.80 with a 0.92 WHIP and 25:10 K:BB across 25 innings this season. • Notches 19th save
Clase walked one and struck out two in a scoreless ninth inning Tuesday to record his 19th save of the season in an 8-5 win over the Royals.

Advice: It didn't look like Clase would even get a save chance when the Guardians fell behind 5-0 early, but the right-hander had little trouble securing the comeback victory. Clase is tied for the league lead in saves with the Cardinals' Ryan Helsley, and the Cleveland closer hasn't given up an earned run since April 14 en route to a sparkling 0.30 ERA and 0.63 WHIP through 30.1 innings with a 31:3 K:BB. • Picks up win in return
Ginkel (4-1) returned from a leg injury and picked up Tuesday's win over the Giants. He allowed two hits and struck out one over 1.1 scoreless innings.

Advice: Ginkel made his first appearance since taking a comebacker off the leg Saturday. He was the first reliever up after starter Blake Walston -- 88 pitches, 47 strikes -- labored through 4.1 innings and left with Arizona leading. Pitching this early in games or getting more than three outs are not typically Ginkel's roles, but he had thrown just 14 pitches over the last five days and had the bullets to go a little longer than normal. • Clase notches 19th save in win over Royals
Emmanuel Clase threw a scoreless ninth inning to close out an 8-5 win over the Royals on Tuesday.

Advice: Clase struck out two and walked one en route to his 19th save of the season. The right-hander has a minuscule 0.30 ERA and has been the best closer in fantasy baseball this season, earning tons of draft-day value for whoever took him in their leagues. Rotoworld Tuesday, 6:21 pm
