    • Picks up 10th win
Lugo (10-2) picked up the win over the Dodgers on Saturday, allowing two runs on six hits and one walk over six innings while striking out four.

Advice: Lugo did a great job of working his way out of trouble for most of the contest, with the exception of the fourth inning when he allowed back-to-back hits to open the frame and also hit Jason Heyward with a pitch before eventually surrendering two runs. The right-hander would allow just two more hits over his final two innings of work, notching his 11th quality start of the season and his first this month. Lugo is now tied with Ranger Suarez for the major league lead in wins with 10 and has gone at least six innings in five consecutive outings. Rotowire.com Today, 7:23 am
    • Lugo gets 10th win after six strong vs. Dodgers
Seth Lugo gave up two runs in six innings to get a win against the Dodgers on Saturday.

Advice: The victory is already the 10th of the season for Lugo. The right-hander allowed a two-run single to Gavin Lux in the fourth, but outside of that he handled the Dodgers lineup without many issues. He scattered six hits allowed while walking just one and striking out four. Lugo has been excellent in 2024, and it’d be a surprise if he wasn’t an All-Star at this point. He’ll face the Rangers next weekend in Texas. Rotoworld Yesterday, 8:43 pm
    • Falls to Brewers on Saturday
Abbott (5-6) took the loss against Milwaukee on Saturday, allowing three runs on four hits and three walks while striking out three batters over five innings.

Advice: Abbott navigated around a stream of baserunners to keep the Brewers off the scoreboard for four frames, but he put himself in quick danger by walking the first two batters in the fifth. That came back to hurt him in a big way when Joey Ortiz hit a changeup for a three-run homer, accounting for all the runs Abbott surrendered in the outing. It was the southpaw's second straight start of five frames after he went at least six innings in four consecutive outings between May 15 and June 3. Abbott has fared reasonably well this season with a 3.42 ERA and 1.20 WHIP, though his 60:25 K:B over 79 frames doesn't help his fantasy stock. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 7:41 pm
    • Andrew Abbott takes loss against Brewers
Andrew Abbott allowed three runs on four hits in five innings in a loss to the Brewers on Saturday.

Advice: It wasn’t a poor performance for the left-hander, who walked three and struck out three on the day. As is typical, Abbott didn’t get many whiffs, with just six whiffs on 43 swings for a 14 percent whiff rate and 22 percent CSW. However, he also didn’t allow much hard contact with just an 82.3 mph average exit velocity allowed. He’ll take a 3.42 ERA into a game against the Red Sox next week, and his lack of strikeouts always makes him a bit risky for fantasy. Rotoworld Yesterday, 7:25 pm
    • Allows three runs in loss
Walker dropped to 3-2 on the season in Saturday's 6-2 loss to the Orioles, allowing three runs on six hits and two walks with four strikeouts over 5.2 innings.

Advice: Walker was given an early 2-0 lead, but the Orioles chipped away with a sacrifice fly in the third inning and a solo home run by Anthony Santander in the fourth. Santander then broke the tie with a sacrifice fly in the sixth, and Walker was pulled with one out to go in the frame at 92 pitches. Walker has pitched into the sixth inning in his past two starts but has not recorded a quality start or a win since May 11. On the season, he now owns a 5.33 ERA, 1.45 WHIP and 40:18 K:BB in 49 innings and tentatively lines up to start next weekend against the Diamondbacks. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 5:49 pm
    • Not yet doing on-field activity
Trout (knee) has yet to progress to performing on-field activities, MLB.com reports.

Advice: Trout has been out of action since being diagnosed with a torn meniscus in his left knee near the end of April. Los Angeles has thus far kept him on the 10-day injured list, but he doesn't seem to be anywhere near being activated -- or even beginning a minor-league rehab stint -- given his lack of baseball activity. Trout is expected to return to action at some point this season, but the Angels are unlikely to rush him back given their position in the standings, and his timeframe for rejoining the team remains hazy. • Taijuan Walker takes loss versus Orioles on Saturday
Taijuan Walker allowed three runs with four strikeouts over 5 2/3 innings in a loss to the Orioles on Saturday.

Advice: Walker tossed a clean first inning, then worked around two baserunners in the second. A double, base hit, and a sacrifice fly brought the first run across the board for the Orioles in the third inning. Anthony Santander then led off the fourth with a solo homer. Walker would pitch into the sixth, giving up the go-ahead run on two hits and a sacrifice fly before leaving with two outs. The 31-year-old right-hander ends the day with a 5.33 ERA, 1.45 WHIP, and a 40/18 K/BB ratio across 49 innings. He lines up for a start against the Diamondbacks in Philadelphia on Friday. • Placed on 15-day IL
Bradish (elbow) was placed on the 15-day injured list with a right UCL sprain Saturday.

Advice: Bradish pitched five frames in Friday's 5-3 loss to the Phillies, leaving the contest with right elbow discomfort, which is now understood to be due to the much-feared UCL injury. The 27-year-old missed the first month of the season with a UCL sprain, so he's likely set to miss more than the minimum 15 days. Left-hander Nick Vespi was called up from Triple-A Norfolk to replace Bradish on Baltimore's major-league roster in a corresponding move Saturday. Cade Povich appears to be the most likely candidate to replace Bradish in the starting rotation. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 10:21 am

    • O’s put Kyle Bradish on IL with right UCL sprain
Orioles placed RHP Kyle Bradish on the 15-day injured list with a right UCL sprain.

Advice: Not good. Bradish lands on the injured list after being removed from Friday’s start against the Phillies with right elbow discomfort. The primary concern here for fantasy managers is that Bradish missed time earlier this year due to a UCL sprain in his right elbow, which caused him to miss all of spring training and the first month of the season. There should be an update on his status at some point in the near future, but the 27-year-old righty could be facing a lengthy absence. It’s a significant hit to Baltimore’s starting rotation and a massive loss for fantasy managers as well. Rotoworld Yesterday, 10:19 am
