Patrick Bailey went 2-for-4 with a walk and a solo home run against the Cubs on Monday.

Advice: Bailey’s home run was his fifth of the season. His solo shot in the eighth inning brought the Giants to within two runs before their ninth inning comeback. Bailey continues to hit as his average is up to ,286 with a .795 OPS and 23 RBI in 48 games with the Giants this year. Rotoworld Yesterday, 8:37 pm
  • Ramos belts ninth home run against Cubs Monday
Heliot Ramos went 2-for-5 with a solo home run in the Giants’ 7-6 victory over the Cubs on Monday.

Advice: Ramos’ home run was his ninth of the season. He’s now homered in three of his last four games and has four consecutive games with at least two hits. Ramos has taken the league by storm with a .328 average and .981 OPS in 36 games with the Giants this year. Rotoworld Yesterday, 8:32 pm
  • Happ blasts three-run home run Monday
Ian Happ went 2-for-3 with a walk and a three-run home run against the Giants on Monday.

Advice: Happ’s home run was his eighth of the season. The three-run blast gave the Cubs a 6-3 lead in the seventh inning. It was Happ’s second home run in his last three games and third consecutive game with at least two hits. Happ’s wRC+ on the season is up to 115, which is the same as his career wRC+. • Moves into leadoff spot sans Betts
Ohtani will start at designated hitter and bat leadoff in Monday's game in Colorado.

Advice: In the Dodgers' first game without Mookie Betts (hand), Ohtani slides up one spot in the order and will be followed by Will Smith, who moves from cleanup to the two hole. Ohtani also hit leadoff once back on May 18 when Betts had a day off. It's the only two times this season that he hasn't hit second. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 2:15 pm

  • Clubs 10th homer
Freeman went 2-for-4 with a solo home run in Sunday's 3-0 victory versus the Royals.

Advice: Freeman reached double-digit homers on the campaign with his sixth-inning solo blast. The veteran first baseman has begun to pick up the pace in terms of power, going deep four times in 14 contests in June after coming into the month with just six long balls across 59 games. Freeman's pair of hits Sunday also lifted his average back up to .300 -- he's slashing .300/.401/.502 in 319 plate appearances on the season. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 11:46 am
  • Leads offense Sunday
Happ went 2-for-3 with a walk, a double and a run scored in Sunday's 2-1 loss to the Cardinals.

Advice: Happ was the only Chicago player with multiple hits and had the only extra-base knock as well in a sluggish offensive game for his team. The outfielder now has consecutive two-hit efforts with a home run and a double mixed in. Happ's overall .224/.335/.384 slash line could still use some work to get closer to his career marks, though he's starting to trend in the right direction. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 5:02 am

  • Clobbers pair of homers
Ohtani went 2-for-3 with two solo home runs during Sunday's 3-0 win over the Royals.

Advice: Ohtani teed off on Brady Singer, tagging the Royals' starter for solo homers in the third and sixth innings for Ohtani's second multi-homer game of 2024. The 29-year-old is now up to 19 home runs on the season, tied for fourth-most in MLB. Ohtani owns a .976 OPS through 278 plate appearances and is the only player in baseball with at least 15 homers and stolen bases. Rotowire.com Sunday, 8:33 pm

  • Primed for everyday shortstop role
Dodgers manager Dave Roberts said after Sunday's 3-0 win over the Royals that Rojas is expected to see the majority of the starts at shortstop while Mookie Betts is out with a fractured left hand, ESPN.com reports.

Advice: Betts suffered the injury in the seventh inning of Sunday's game, when he was hit by a 97.9 mile-per-hour fastball. Fortunately for Betts, the injury is to his non-dominant hand, and Roberts said that surgery won't be necessary, but the seven-time All-Star is still likely headed for a multi-week absence. With 760 career MLB starts at shortstop under his belt, Rojas gives the Dodgers a battle-tested option at the position who's a dependable defender, but the 35-year-old doesn't profile as a high-end fantasy contributor. He's been a solid performer when called upon this season -- usually as a fill-in starter against left-handed pitching -- hitting .278 with three home runs and three stolen bases across 116 plate appearances. • Shohei Ohtani homers twice in Dodgers’ win
Shohei Ohtani launched his 18th and 19th homers of the year Sunday off the Royals’ Brady Singer in a 3-0 win.

Advice: The Dodgers’ other run came on the second of back-to-back homers from Freddie Freeman in the sixth. Ohtani’s first homer today was crushed 451 feet to center. Ohtani had been slumping some of late, having come in at .216/.310/.412 in June. He’s still fifth in the majors in OPS (.976), sixth in average (.309), fourth in homers and tied for fifth in runs scored (53). Rotoworld Sunday, 3:46 pm
