• Drives in four in win
Profar went 2-for-5 with a solo home run and a three-run double in Friday's 10-3 win over the Diamondbacks.

Advice: Profar went back-to-back with Fernando Tatis in the first inning and then added a three-run double in the eighth as part of a five-run inning. Through seven games in June, Profar has gone 7-for-25 (.280) with three extra-base hits and a 3:6 BB:K. The outfielder is only slightly cooling off from his impressive first two months -- he's now at a .325/.418/.496 slash line with nine homers, 42 RBI, 35 runs scored and four stolen bases over 67 contests. • Tending to hamstring issue
Rodgers exited Friday's game against the Cardinals after feeling tightness in his hamstring while running the bases, MLB.com reports.

Advice: Both Rodgers and manager Bud Black expressed optimism that the injury is not serious. However, Rodgers will reportedly require treatment over the next couple of days, suggesting it would be a surprise to see him in the lineup Saturday. Alan Trejo should line up to start at second base if Rodgers is forced to remain on the bench. Rotowire.com 28 minutes ago

  • Sharp in win
King (5-4) allowed four hits and one walk while striking out five over five scoreless innings to earn the win Friday over the Diamondbacks.

Advice: King wasn't all that efficient, needing 98 pitches (63 strikes) to get through five games, but that's the only knock on his performance. He's been excellent over his last three starts, allowing just two runs on 11 hits and four walks with 16 strikeouts over his last 17 innings. King is at a 3.58 ERA, 1.22 WHIP and 83:32 K:BB through 78 innings across 14 appearances (13 starts). The right-hander will look to keep it rolling in his next start, tentatively projected to come at home versus the Athletics. Rotowire.com 30 minutes ago

  • Swipes fourth bag
Blackmon went 2-for-4 with a stolen base Friday against the Cardinals.

Advice: Blackmon has had a nice start to the Rockies' current road trip, going 3-for-7 with a walk, an RBI and a stolen base in two games. After attempting only one steal through May 12, he has three steals on four chances in his last 19 contests. Despite some surprising aggressiveness on the basepaths, Blackmon has disappointed with the bat by maintaining just a .127 ISO and .697 OPS in 209 plate appearances. Rotowire.com 33 minutes ago
  • Clubs homer in loss
Pillar went 2-for-4 with a solo home run in Friday's 7-1 loss to the Astros.

Advice: Pillar had gone 1-for-10 over his first four games in June before this multi-hit effort. His second-inning homer was all the Angels could put up against Framber Valdez, who pitched a complete game. Pillar is up to seven homers, 26 RBI, 17 runs scored and a .324/.379/.590 slash line over 117 plate appearances between the Angels and the White Sox this season. Despite his strong numbers recently, he's been on the bench for two of the last five games, which suggests Pillar doesn't have a full-time role against right-handed pitchers. • Continuing rehab assignment
Bachman (shoulder) started a game for the Angels' Arizona Complex League team June 3 and is slated to throw three innings for the club Saturday, per MLB.com.

Advice: Bachman removed himself from a rehab outing May 30 due to neck stiffness, but he said he felt better the next day and was able to toss two innings June 3. That outing went well, as the right-hander didn't allow any runs or hits and struck out four batters. Bachman will look to increase his workload by an inning in his next appearance as he continues to build up following offseason shoulder surgery. Rotowire.com 37 minutes ago

  • Toglia gets Little League grand slam against STL
Michael Toglia hit a three-run triple in a loss Friday to the Cardinals.

Advice: Ah, the ole Little League grand slam. Toglia tripled with the bases loaded and came around to score on a Nolan Gorman error. The 25-year-old has shown some pop with a .407 slugging mark, but his .148 average and .179 on-base mark answer any questions about whether he’s worthy of fantasy consideration. • Ryne Stanek blows save, allows three runs
Ryne Stanek allowed three runs and blew a save while picking up a loss Friday to the Royals.

Advice: Stanek was handed a 9-7 lead in the ninth. It didn’t work out. The right-hander got another save chance with Andres Munoz (back) not available again, and he didn’t make the most of it. Stanek could be inline for save chances as long as Munoz is unavailable, but this is a very flawed — to put it mildly — fantasy option. Rotoworld Today, 8:09 pm
  • Daniel Lynch IV allows seven in first
Daniel Lynch IV went four innings while allowing eight runs, but didn’t factor into the decision against the Mariners on Friday.

Advice: Generally when you give up a seven-spot in the first, you take home a loss. The score would end up being 8-0 after he left, but Kansas City completed an epic comeback to prevent the L. Still, it was a terrible start for Lynch IV that saw him allow six hits and four walks, and he needed 93 pitches to get those 12 outs. A former top prospect, Lynch IV will get win chances with this Kansas City offense, but the lack of consistent success makes him hard to use in fantasy. Rotoworld Today, 8:09 pm
