    Burleson went 2-for-3 with a walk, a stolen base and one run scored in Monday's 6-3 win over the Orioles.

    Advice: Burleson upped his hitting streak to six games (12-for-25), and five of those contests have been multi-hit efforts. He also has two homers, two steals, four RBI and six runs scored in that span. Burleson isn't known for his speed -- he's at two steals in 2024, one shy of last year's mark, which he achieved in 107 games.   • Powers offense in win
    Siani went 2-for-4 with a home run, four RBI and one stolen base in Monday's 6-3 win over the Orioles.

    Advice: Siani hit an RBI single in the second inning and then hit his first big-league homer in the fourth, a three-run blast off Dean Kremer. The long ball was Siani's first extra-base hit since a double May 12 versus the Brewers. The outfielder is batting .341 (14-for-41) over 16 contests in May, though he's still at a mediocre .238 average and .611 OPS through 93 plate appearances on the year.   • Luis Rengifo swipes two bags against Astros
    Luis Rengifo had two hits and two steals against the Astros on Monday.

    Advice: The second steal saw him jam his left hand into second base, leaving him with an injured middle finger in spite of the oven mitt he was wearing.   • Drives in three runs
    Verdugo went 3-for-5 with a double and three RBI in Monday's loss to Seattle.

    Advice: Verdugo opened the scoring with a two-run double in the first inning and later knocked an RBI single. After posting an .804 OPS in his first 29 games, he's struggled in 17 games this month, going 15-for-64 (.234) with five extra-base hits.   • Siani hits first home run Monday
    Michael Siani went 2-for-4 with a steal and a three-run home run and four RBI against the Orioles on Monday.

    Advice: Siani started the scoring with an RBI single off Dean Kremer in the second inning and also delivered the knockout blow in the fourth inning with a three-run homer off Kremer.     Advice: Carpenter continued a strong month of May, as he's batting .325 this month with three home runs, nine runs scored and 10 RBI across 14 games. He's now up to six long balls overall to go along with a solid .893 OPS.   • Carpenter leaves the yard Monday
    Kerry Carpenter went 2-for-3 with a double, a solo home run, a sacrifice, two runs scored and two RBI against the Royals on Monday.



    Advice: The home run was Carpenter’s sixth of the season. He’s hitting .285 with an .893 OPS with the majority of his at-bats coming against right-handed pitching. It can certainly be frustrating for fantasy managers when Carpenter is on the bench against left-handed starters or gets pinch-hit for late in games. He was 16-for-68 (.235) against left-handed pitchers in 2023, though, so it’s hard to argue the logic even on nights when it’s readily apparent that Carpenter is the Tigers’ best offensive weapon.

  • Swipes two bags
    Yelich went 0-for-3 with two walks, two steals and a run scored in Monday's loss to Miami.

    Advice: Yelich stole his fifth and sixth bases of the season in the sixth inning. First, the Brewers outfielder stole second before catching starter Ryan Weathers off guard on a throw back from his catcher, taking the opportunity to swipe home.     Christian Yelich walked twice and stole two bases on Monday in the Brewers’ extra-inning loss to the Marlins.

    Advice: Yelich walked and stole second base in the sixth inning before making a daring heads-up decision to steal home on Marlins starter Ryan Weathers later in the frame.
