• Kiner-Falefa has two-homer game in loss Saturday
Isiah Kiner-Falefa went 2-for-3 with two home runs against the Guardians on Saturday.

Advice: Bo Bichette continues to miss games with a calf injury, giving Kiner-Falefa some run at shortstop. He was able to hit two home runs out of the leadoff spot on Saturday. Kiner-Falefa now has six home runs on the year. He’s hitting .281 with a .733 OPS and 31 RBI on the season. Rotoworld Today, 4:16 pm

  • Brandon Lowe suffers broken pinkie toe on Saturday
Brandon Lowe suffered a broken right pinkie toe when he was hit by a pitch during Saturday’s game against the Pirates.

Advice: Fortunately, it doesn’t sound like Lowe should require a trip to the injured list. There’s nothing that you can really do about a broken toe, it’s more of a pain tolerance thing than anything. Expect him to miss a game or two — and perhaps be less active on the basepaths — but it shouldn’t lead to an extended absence for the 29-year-old slugger. Rotoworld Today, 4:07 pm

  • Dylan Moore doubles twice as Mariners rout Marlins
Dylan Moore doubled twice and drove in a run in a blowout win Saturday over the Marlins.

Advice: Moore now has 14 doubles on the season. The 31-year-old came into Saturday’s game hitting just .154 over the month of June, but he has swung the bat better over the last week with a pair of homers and multi-hit contests. Rotoworld Today, 3:36 pm

  • Ryan Bliss doubles twice, drives in two in rout
Ryan Bliss doubled twice and picked up three hits in a blowout win over the Marlins on Saturday.

Advice: Bliss also scored a run. The 24-year-old rookie has picked up six hits in his seven at-bats against Miami in the series, and that’s helped improve his slash to .283/.353/.457. The question now becomes what Seattle does with Bliss when Jorge Polanco (hamstring) comes off the injured list, and what kind of role he’d serve if he did stay on the roster. Based on what he’s done in the majors, he deserves playing time, but Seattle will want him to get regular at-bats somewhere. Rotoworld Today, 3:36 pm

  • Suffers broken toe
Lowe suffered a broken pinky toe during Saturday's game against the Pirates, Tricia Whitaker of Bally Sports Sun reports.

Advice: Lowe was hit by a pitch in the first inning of the contest and was removed in the sixth frame with what was initially deemed a right foot contusion. However, further evaluation showed that Lowe actually sustained a broken toe. Per Marc Topkin of the Tampa Bay Times, Lowe isn't expected to require an IL stint at this point. • Jordan Westburg homers in loss to Astros
Jordan Westburg connected on a solo homer in a loss to the Astros on Saturday.

Advice: Westburg’s homer accounted for the only run of the game for the Orioles; a solo shot in the second off Ronel Blanco. The 25-year-old has put together a solid first half with 12 homers, 36 RBI and .837 OPS over his 267 at-bats. Rotoworld Today, 3:31 pm

  • Richie Palacios scores, picks up two hits
Richie Palacios went 2-for-3 with a run scored and a stolen base in a loss to the Pirates on Saturday.

Advice: Palacios came around to score on a Ben Rortvedt single. The 27-year-old stole his 11th base in the loss while the pair of hits improves his mediocre slash to .237/.332/.333. Rotoworld Today, 3:16 pm

  • Brandon Lowe leaves game with foot contusion
Brandon Lowe was pulled from Saturday’s battle against the Pirates with a right foot contusion.

Advice: It’s unclear exactly when the injury occurred, but Lowe was lifted from Saturday’s game just before his at-bat in the fifth inning. He should be considered day-to-day, but given his extensive injury history, you just never know how much time Lowe will need before he’s able to return to the lineup. Rotoworld Today, 3:02 pm

  • Amed Rosario suffers facial lacerations on Saturday
Amed Rosario suffered facial lacerations when he was hit in the face by a 99.6-mph fastball during Saturday’s game against the Pirates.

Advice: It sounds like the 28-year-old infielder was extremely fortunate to have avoided any broken bones in a terrifying situation on Saturday afternoon. It’s unclear if Rosario is going to require a trip to the injured list or will miss any time with the injury, but it’s incredibly encouraging to hear the early diagnosis. Rotoworld Today, 2:59 pm
