    Brandon Lowe suffered a broken right pinkie toe when he was hit by a pitch during Saturday’s game against the Pirates.

    Advice: Fortunately, it doesn’t sound like Lowe should require a trip to the injured list. There’s nothing that you can really do about a broken toe, it’s more of a pain tolerance thing than anything.   • Ryan Bliss doubles twice, drives in two in rout
    Ryan Bliss doubled twice and picked up three hits in a blowout win over the Marlins on Saturday.

    Advice: Bliss also scored a run. The 24-year-old rookie has picked up six hits in his seven at-bats against Miami in the series, and that’s helped improve his slash to .283/.353/.457. The question now becomes what Seattle does with Bliss when Jorge Polanco (hamstring) comes off the injured list, and what kind of role he’d serve if he did stay on the roster.     Lowe suffered a broken pinky toe during Saturday's game against the Pirates, Tricia Whitaker of Bally Sports Sun reports.

    Advice: Lowe was hit by a pitch in the first inning of the contest and was removed in the sixth frame with what was initially deemed a right foot contusion. However, further evaluation showed that Lowe actually sustained a broken toe. Per Marc Topkin of the Tampa Bay Times, Lowe isn't expected to require an IL stint at this point.
