    • Triples in two straight
Carroll went 1-for-4 with a triple, a walk and a run scored in Sunday's 6-4 win over Detroit. He was also caught stealing.

Advice: Carroll tripled to lead off the bottom of the first inning and scored the first of two Arizona runs during the frame. It was the second straight game with a triple for Carroll, who finished second in MLB last season with 10 three-baggers. He was moved back to leadoff seven games ago, but it hasn't done much to break Carroll's season-opening slump; he's 4-for-24 with three extra-base hits, five runs and has been caught stealing twice. • Smacks 11th homer
O'Neill went 2-for-3 with a solo home run, two walks and three runs scored Sunday against the Cardinals.

Advice: O'Neill got the green light on a 3-0 pitch from Matthew Liberatore in the first inning and smashed it over the wall in left center for his 11th homer of the season, but just his second since April 27. He would go on to reach base a total of four times in five plate appearances, crossing the plate three times against his former club. In 37 games, O'Neill is slashing .263/.376/.556 with 11 homers, 17 RBI, 29 runs and a steal across 133 at-bats. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 8:16 pm
    • Tyler O’Neill homers, scores three times
Tyler O’Neill went 2-for-3 with a homer, two walks and three runs scored Sunday against the Cardinals.

Advice: O’Neill went 4-for-12 in his first series against his former team. The homer today was a solo shot, as nine of his 11 have been. He’s just 4-for-27 this season with RISP, which is how he’s totaled only 17 RBI to go along with the 11 homers in 37 games. Rotoworld Yesterday, 1:28 pm
    • Slugs another long ball Saturday
Stanton went 2-for-3 with a home run, a double, a walk and two total RBI in Saturday's 6-1 win against the White Sox.

Advice: Stanton doubled home a run in the first inning and added a solo homer in the third. The long ball was his second in as many days and his third over his past four games. Stanton is enjoying a big month of May, slashing .308/.333/.654 with five homers and 10 RBI through 13 games, though he's also struck out 35.2 percent of the time. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 7:56 am
    • Perfect at plate Saturday
Freeman went 4-for-4 with a walk, a double, three runs, three RBI and a stolen base in Saturday's 11-4 victory versus Minnesota.

Advice: Freeman batted out of the leadoff spot for the sixth straight contest and broke out with the first four-hit game of his career. Among those knocks was a run-scoring double and a two-run single. Freeman is still batting just .221 on the season, but he may be rounding into form, as he's gone 8-for-17 with a 4:1 BB:K during his current five-game hitting streak. Rotowire.com Saturday, 10:12 pm

    • Freeman has four-hit game Saturday
Tyler Freeman went 4-for-4 with a double, a walk, three runs scored, three RBI and a stolen base against the Twins on Saturday.

Advice: Freeman continues to occupy the leadoff spot for Cleveland despite a .221 average. The stolen base was his sixth of the season. It was a huge game for Freeman, who remains merely a deep league option.

    • Giancarlo Stanton stays hot with homer Saturday
Giancarlo Stanton went 2-for-3 with a home run, two RBI, and a walk against the White Sox on Saturday.

Advice: Stanton doubled in the first inning to drive in a run for the Yankees. He then homered off Brad Keller in the third before drawing a walk to reach for a third time in the fifth inning. The 34-year-old slugger is heating up along with the rest of the Yankees lineup. He’s now had multiple hits in four of his last five games, including three homers. Stanton is hitting .258/.309/.530 with 11 homers and 26 RBI across 162 plate appearances. Rotoworld Saturday, 12:43 pm
    • Mashes homer No. 10
Stanton went 2-for-4 with a home run and two RBI in Friday's 4-2 win over the White Sox.

Advice: He crushed a Tanner Banks fastball down the left-field line on the first pitch he saw to lead off the sixth inning. Stanton has stayed healthy so far this season and is already at 10 long balls through 39 games, giving him a shot at his first 40-homer campaign since 2017 if he can avoid lengthy injury absences. His 33.5 percent strikeout rate -- which would be the worst mark of his career if it doesn't come down -- indicates how one-dimensional the 34-year-old has become at this stage of his career, however. • Carroll returns to the lineup on Friday
Corbin Carroll is back in the Diamondbacks lineup, batting second against the Tigers on Friday.

Advice: Carroll came off the bench and pinch ran and scored a run on Wednesday. Fantasy managers have to be frustrated with Carroll’s production so far this season as he’s hitting just .193 with a .539 OPS. Only seven qualified hitters have a lower batting average entering play Friday. It’s not what you want from a first round pick. Rotoworld Friday, 12:25 pm
