    • Zach Eflin goes four innings in return from IL
Zach Eflin pitched well in his return from the injured list on Wednesday, allowing two runs on three hits over four frames in a no-decision against the Marlins.

Advice: Eflin struck out three batters on the evening and didn’t allow a base on balls. The Marlins scored a pair of two-out runs against him in the opening inning on an RBI double by Jesus Sanchez and an RBI single by Otto Lopez. He settled in nicely afterwards though and blanked the Fish over his final three innings. The 30-year-old hurler got five whiffs on 55 pitches in the contest, posting a CSW of only 18 percent. He’ll tote a 4.14 ERA, 1.14 WHIP and a 47/4 K/BB ratio (63 innings) into Tuesday’s start against the Cubs. Rotoworld Yesterday, 6:04 pm
    • Nick Castellanos homers, Phillies sweep Brewers
Nick Castellanos swatted a two-run homer on Wednesday, lifting the Phillies to a 2-0 victory over the Brewers.

Advice: Castellanos connected for a 402-foot blast off Brewers southpaw Aaron Ashby in the fifth inning for his eighth big fly of the season. It wound up being the lone tally for either side in a rare low-scoring showdown at Citizens Bank Park and was more than enough run support for Aaron Nola and the Phillies’ bullpen in this one. The 32-year-old corner outfielder has homered twice in this last seven contests since May 29. Rotoworld Yesterday, 4:53 pm
    • Provides only offense in win
Castellanos went 1-for-4 with a two-run home run in Wednesday's 2-0 win over the Brewers.

Advice: The veteran outfielder provided the game's only offense by taking Aaron Ashby deep in the fifth inning. Castellanos is beginning to climb out of his early-season hole, batting .270 (17-for-63) over his last 16 games with four of his eight homers on the season, along with 11 runs and 11 RBI. • Exits starting lineup
Cowser is out of the lineup for Wednesday's game in Toronto.

Advice: Cowser has struggled over the last few weeks, producing a .431 OPS in his past 15 games. He'll be given a day off to regroup while Kyle Stowers starts in left field and Cedric Mullins covers center field. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 12:11 pm
    • J.T. Realmuto out of lineup for Wednesday’s game
J.T. Realmuto, who was pretty well beaten up in Tuesday’s game against the Brewers, is absent from Wednesday’s lineup.

Advice: It’s also a day game after a night game, but we imagine he still would have been in there today if he hadn’t taken quite a bit of damage Tuesday, particularly since the Phillies aren’t playing the next two days as they travel to London. Garrett Stubbs is catching today. Rotoworld Yesterday, 9:31 am
    • Day off Wednesday
Realmuto is out of the lineup for Wednesday's contest versus the Brewers.

Advice: The Phillies and Brewers are playing a day game Wednesday after Realmuto caught all 10 innings of a 2-1 win Tuesday, so he appears to be getting some rest in the series finale. Garrett Stubbs will start behind the dish for the Phillies on Wednesday as they go for the sweep of Milwaukee. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 9:28 am
    • Activated for Wednesday's start
The Rays reinstated Eflin (back) from the 15-day injured list ahead of his scheduled start Wednesday versus the Marlins in Miami.

Advice: Tampa Bay optioned right-hander Justin Sterner to Triple-A Durham to clear the way for Eflin's return to the 26-man active roster. Eflin missed just over the minimum 15 days while recovering from lower-back inflammation, and the Rays signed off on him returning from the IL without a rehab assignment after he completed a 40-pitch, two-inning simulated bullpen session Sunday. According to MLB.com, manager Kevin Cash suggested that Eflin could face some limitations with his workload Wednesday, but the Rays will wait and see how the right-hander fares as the game unfolds before making any decisions on whether to cut his start short. • Rays activate Zach Eflin ahead of Wednesday start
Rays activated RHP Zach Eflin from the 15-day injured list.

Advice: Eflin missed a couple of starts with back inflammation. He’ll make his return to the Rays rotation tonight against the Marlins. Rotoworld Yesterday, 8:09 am
    • Clutch homer Tuesday
Bohm went 1-for-5 with a solo home run in Tuesday's 2-1 win over the Brewers in 10 innings.

Advice: Bohm got the Phillies on the board in the eighth inning, leading off the frame with a 420-foot blast off Elvis Peguero to tie the game, 1-1. It's the first homer since May 19 for Bohm -- he's gone just 11-for-57 (.193) since then following a red-hot start to the season. Overall, the 27-year-old third baseman is slashing .296/.350/.481 with six homers, 50 RBI, 29 runs scored and a pair of stolen bases across 61 games this season. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 8:07 am
