    • Logs two steals in loss
Stott went 1-for-4 with two RBI, two stolen bases and one walk in Sunday's 5-4 extra-inning loss to the Cardinals.

Advice: Stott has had trouble getting on base lately -- he's 5-for-44 (.114) with two walks over his last 12 games -- but he's managed to steal four bases in that span. He played a more noticeable role Sunday with a two-run single to tie the game at 4-4 in the fifth inning. Those RBI were his first since May 21. The infielder is slashing .239/.340/.372 with 16 steals, five home runs, 32 RBI and 31 runs scored over 55 contests this season. Rotowire.com 14 minutes ago

    • Bryson Stott swipes two bases in loss to Cards
Bryson Stott drove in a pair of runs and swiped two bases as the Phillies fell to the Cardinals in 10 innings on Sunday night.

Advice: Stott drew a walk off of Lance Lynn in the opening inning and swiped second base, but the Phillies were unable to cash him in. He then tied the game up and chased Lynn with a two-run single in the fifth inning. Stott then deftly nabbed second base again, but the Phillies once again couldn’t score him. The 26-year-old infielder is now hitting .239/.340/.372 with five long balls, 32 RBI and 16 stolen bases on the season. Rotoworld Today, 7:16 pm

    • Works into seventh
Bello did not factor into the decision, allowing four runs on eight hits and three walks over 6.1 innings. He struck out five.

Advice: Bello cruised through the first four in allowing only two baserunners and finished the sixth inning in line for a quality start and the win. For the first time all year, Bello was called upon to go back out for the seventh but after recording one out, he allowed the next two runners to reach base prior to being pulled, with both runners eventually coming around to score, adversely impacting his final line. It was only the second time this year that Bello has not been involved in the decision. His next opportunity to take the hill will likely come next weekend when Boston travels to Chicago to take on the White Sox. Rotowire.com Today, 6:06 pm
    • Tigers will option Spencer Torkelson to Triple-A
Evan Petzold of the Detroit Free Press reports that the Tigers plan to option slumping first baseman Spencer Torkelson to Triple-A Toledo.

Advice: Torkelson, the top overall selection from the 2020 draft, has slashed a miserable .201/.266/.330 through his first 230 plate appearances with only four homers, 18 RBI and a 56/16 K/BB ratio. He has been especially bad as of late, mired in a 3-for-33 (.091) funk with a 13/3 K/BB ratio over his last nine games. Justyn-Henry Malloy will be promoted from Triple-A Toledo to take Torkelson’s spot on the Tigers’ active roster. Rotoworld Today, 5:40 pm
    • Heading to Triple-A
The Tigers are expected to option Torkelson to Triple-A Toledo on Monday, Evan Petzold of the Detroit Free Press reports.

Advice: Torkelson was held out of the lineup for two of the Tigers' last three games after struggling to a .201/.266/.330 slash line with four home runs, 18 RBI and 24 runs scored over 229 plate appearances in 54 games with the Tigers this season. The first baseman will look to hit the reset button with Toledo before potentially returning to Detroit's major-league roster down the road. In the meantime, Justyn-Henry Malloy is set to be called up from Triple-A to replace Torkelson on the 26-man active roster. Rotowire.com Today, 5:21 pm
    • Notches 16th save
Finnegan picked up the save Sunday against Cleveland, allowing one hit and zero walks while striking out zero in a scoreless ninth inning.

Advice: Finnegan's strong season continued Sunday as his 16 saves are now tied for fourth in the major leagues. The 32-year-old has been remarkably consistent, allowing just one earned run since March 31 and converting 14 of 15 save opportunities during that span. Rotowire.com Today, 4:33 pm
    • Brayan Bello falters late in no-decision
Brayan Bello was charged with four runs in 6 1/3 innings Sunday in a no-decision against the Tigers.

Advice: This one is on Alex Cora, who sent Bello back out for the seventh to face the top of the lineup for a fourth time even though he had given up runs in the fifth and sixth innings. Bello surrendered hits to two of the three batters he faced before being pulled, and Justin Slaten allowed both runners to score afterwards. Bello remains 6-2 with a 4.36 ERA. • Receiving breather Sunday
Realmuto is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Cardinals.

Advice: Realmuto started the first two games of the series and will receive Sunday off after going 0-for-8 with four strikeouts and a run scored. Garrett Stubbs will step in behind the plate and bat eighth. Rotowire.com Today, 1:15 pm
    • Kyle Finnegan nails down 16th save
Kyle Finnegan worked a scoreless ninth inning on Sunday against the Guardians to earn the save. He allowed one hit and didn’t strike a batter out.

Advice: The only pitchers with more saves than Finnegan this season are Ryan Helsley, Emmanuel Clase, and Robert Suárez while he’s tied with Clay Holmes. He’s been rock-solid as well with a sparkling 1.57 ERA and has a firm hold on closing duties in Washington. Rotoworld Today, 1:11 pm
