    • Two doubles in loss
Soler went 2-for-5 with two doubles, an RBI and a run scored in Saturday's loss to the Dodgers.

Advice: Soler doubled in his first at-bat before coming around to score the Giants' first run of the game on a sac fly from Heliot Ramos. The slugger then added an RBI double to tie the game at 2-2 in the third, giving him three extra-base hits over his last three games. Soler is now batting .275 this month with three homers, eight doubles, 14 RBI and 10 runs scored - a far cry from his .164 average in May. Rotowire.com Today, 8:16 am

    • Breaks out of short slump
Jones went 1-for-3 with a two-run home run Saturday against the White Sox.

Advice: Jones entered Saturday's game having collected just one hit across his last 15 at-bats. He ended that short slump with a two-run homer in the fifth inning, his second long ball since returning from the injured list June 14. Jones is still working on finding his rhythm this season after missing around six weeks due to knee and back injuries, but he is now hitting .250 since being activated. Rotowire.com Today, 12:02 am

    • Fares well in no-decision
Myers allowed three runs on seven hits and two walks while striking out six batters over six innings in a no-decision against the Cubs on Saturday.

Advice: Myers came into Saturday having given up one or zero runs in four straight starts, all of which ended with his name in the win column. The right-hander couldn't extend the win streak Saturday, but he still pitched pretty well to notch his fourth quality start of the campaign. June was a breakout month for Myers, who was actually optioned to Triple-A on the first day of the month following a poor start against the White Sox on May 31. Since returning to the big club, he has gone 4-0 while posting a 1.44 ERA and 24:8 K:BB over 31.1 frames across five starts. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 9:48 pm

    • Solo shot in Saturday's loss
Garcia went 2-for-5 with a solo home run and a double in Saturday's 6-5 loss to the Orioles.

Advice: Garcia's blast got the Rangers within a run in the eighth inning, but they failed to tie the game. The outfielder has hit safely in eight of the last nine games, going 10-for-35 (.286) with three homers and four RBI in that span. He's still slashing just .220/.280/.422 on the year with 16 long balls, 44 RBI, 43 runs scored, six stolen bases and 12 doubles across 79 contests. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 8:21 pm

    • Jorge Soler doubles twice in loss to Dodgers
Jorge Soler went 2-for-5 with a pair of doubles, a run scored and an RBI as the Giants fell to the Dodgers in extra innings on Saturday evening in San Francisco.

Advice: Soler led off the home half of the first inning with a double off of Tyler Glasnow, then scored the team’s first run on a sacrifice fly off the bat of Heliot Ramos. Soler also drove in a run of his own with an RBI double off of Glasnow in the third inning, tying the game at 2-2. Perhaps staying in the leadoff spot is the way to get him going. Soler is now hitting .226/.306/.389 with nine homers and 30 RBI on the year. Rotoworld Yesterday, 8:06 pm

    • Nails down 12th save
Hader struck out two in a perfect inning to earn the save in Saturday's 9-6 win over the Mets.

Advice: The Astros' late comeback resulted in a save chance, and Hader converted with ease. He's picked up five saves over 11 outings in June while surrendering four runs and posting a 16:1 K:BB across 10.2 innings for the month. Overall, he's 12-for-13 in save chances with a 3.68 ERA, 1.01 WHIP and 59:11 K:BB through 36.2 innings this season, with the Astros' mediocre play being the main reason for his reduced saves total, though the team is trending up by going 9-2 over the last two weeks. • Initial X-rays come back negative for Corey Seager
Initial X-rays on the injured left hand/wrist of Corey Seager came back negative for any fractures on Saturday.

Advice: That doesn’t necessarily mean that the coast is clear, as he’ll still undergo additional testing, but it’s very encouraging to hear that there were no fractures revealed on the initial X-rays. Fantasy managers shouldn’t expect Seager to return to action on Sunday, but it sounds like he was fortunate to have avoided any serious injuries this time. Rotoworld Yesterday, 6:25 pm

    • X-rays negative
Seager's (wrist) X-rays came back negative and he'll undergo further evaluation Sunday, Evan Grant of The Dallas Morning News reports.

Advice: Seager was hit in the left wrist by a pitch during Saturday's game against the Orioles and was immediately removed from the contest. Considering he looked to be in significant pain, Seager's X-rays returning negative is certainly an encouraging sign. Sill, it seems like he'll be held out of Sunday's series finale. • Triumphant in return
Gallen (6-4) allowed a hit and a walk while striking out seven over six shutout innings to earn the win over the Athletics on Saturday.

Advice: Gallen returned from a hamstring injury that cost him nearly a month and took full advantage of a soft matchup. This was the fourth time this season he's gone six innings in a start without allowing a run. He's also posted five quality starts in his last six outings, with the lone exception being the May 30 start that ended with the aforementioned hamstring injury before he could record an out. The right-hander is now at a 2.83 ERA, 1.07 WHIP and 67:16 K:BB through 63.2 innings over 12 starts. Gallen threw 77 pitches (50 strikes) Saturday, so he should be good for a full workload his next time out, which is tentatively projected for a road outing at San Diego.
