    • Launches third homer
Hernandez went 1-for-3 with a solo home run in Monday's 6-4 win over the Diamondbacks.

Advice: Hernandez has homered twice in his last six games, though both have been solo shots as well as his only RBI in that span. The utility man is slashing just .216/.287/.320 with three homers, eight RBI, seven runs scored and no stolen bases over 108 plate appearances this season. Hernandez has started five straight games at third base since Max Muncy (oblique) exited the lineup, so it appears Hernandez has a path to steady playing time for now. • Strikes out eight in win
Yamamoto (5-1) earned the win Monday over the Diamondbacks, allowing two runs on seven hits and a walk while striking out eight over 6.1 innings.

Advice: Yamamoto was able to rebound after being not at his best last Monday versus the Giants. The rookie right-hander put together his fifth quality start in his last six outings, though the win was briefly endangered after Elieser Hernandez gave up a pair of solo home runs in the eighth inning. Yamamoto is at a 3.17 ERA, 1.06 WHIP and 61:11 K:BB through 54 innings over 10 starts this season. He's projected to make his next start on the road in a tough venue, Cincinnati's Great American Ball Park. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 10:58 pm
    • Picks up steal Monday
Goldschmidt went 0-for-4 with a walk, a stolen base and a run scored in Monday's 6-3 win over the Orioles.

Advice: Goldschmidt's hitting streak came to an end at eight games, but he was still able to provide a contribution in his lone trip on base Monday. The first baseman's streak has helped to get him out of deep slump, though he's still hitting just .209 on the season. He's added a meager .592 OPS with four home runs, 16 RBI, 23 runs scored and three steals over 198 plate appearances. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 10:04 pm
    • Yainer Diaz does 2-for-4, scores twice in loss
Yainer Diaz went 2-for-4 with a double and an RBI against the Angels on Monday.

Advice: Diaz was also robbed of a possible homer by Jo Adell at the right field wall in the ninth. That was actually his softest hit ball of the night. His EVs in the game were 110.7 mph, 107.8 mph, 103.7 mph and 98.4 mph. His hard-hit rate now stands at 51%, which is particularly impressive in combination with a 14% strikeout rate. • Carlos Correa blasts homer in loss to Nationals
Carlos Correa clubbed a two-run homer on Monday in the Twins’ blowout loss to the Nationals.

Advice: Correa walloped a two-run shot off Nationals starter Mitchell Parker in the sixth inning, but it did little to alter the outcome of Monday’s series opener. It was just his third round-tripper of the season. The 29-year-old shortstop is batting .267/.361/.419 with 16 runs scored, three homers and 12 RBI in 122 plate appearances. • Has ankle injury
Steer is dealing with a sore ankle, Mark Sheldon of MLB.com reports.

Advice: Steer was held out of the starting lineup Sunday as a result of the ankle but served as a pinch hitter. He walked for Will Benson with the bases loaded in the seventh inning and was removed for a pinch runner. Cincinnati manager David Bell said Steer should be back to 100 percent for Tuesday's series opener at home against the Padres. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 5:11 am

    • Converts 10th save
Bednar walked one in a scoreless and hitless inning to earn the save in Sunday's 3-2 win over the Cubs.

Advice: Bednar took the loss in Saturday's game versus the Cubs, but he bounced back with a scoreless inning for his 10th save of the season. The right-hander has given up three runs on seven hits and three walks over 8.1 innings in May, but he also has five saves in nine appearances this month. Overall, he's at a 7.85 ERA, 1.42 WHIP and 21:6 K:BB through 18.1 innings, though he's settled down after a brutal April. Rotowire.com Sunday, 8:21 pm

    • Ohtani has game-winning single on Sunday
Shohei Ohtani went 2-for-4 with the game-winning RBI in a 3-2 win over the Reds in 10 innings on Sunday.

Advice: With the game tied in the 10th, Ohtani laced a 100.3 mph single off of Alexis Diaz to score Jason Heyward and give the Dodgers the win. It was Ohtani’s 33rd RBI of the season to go along with a stellar .353/.423/.658 triple slash. He was likely underdrafted in fantasy leagues because he was listed at just UTIL in most formats. • David Bednar slams door on Cubs on Sunday
David Bednar slammed the door on the Cubs in the ninth inning on Sunday afternoon, preserving a one-run lead to earn his 10th save of the season.

Advice: It hasn’t always been easy for Bednar this season, but he has been much better of late and made things look easy on Sunday. He got Christopher Morel on a pop out to shortstop and Ian Happ on a pop out to third base to start the inning before issuing a two-out walk to Michael Busch. Not to worry though, as he battled back to retire Patrick Wisdom to end it. Bednar will look to further improve upon his bloated 7.85 ERA his next time out. Rotoworld Sunday, 2:07 pm
