• Struggles with power
Dunning didn't factor into the decision Wednesday, allowing three runs on four hits and one walk across five innings against the Rangers. He struck out four

Advice: Dunning couldn't keep the ball in the yard, yielding a two-run home run to Zach McKinstry in the second inning and a solo homer to Riley Greene in the fifth inning as the only three runs attributed to Dunning. The 29-year-old hasn't completed six innings since his second start of the campaign and owns a 4.09 ERA across 50.2 innings on the year. He's tentatively scheduled for a road matchup with the Dodgers next Wednesday. Rotowire.com 3 minutes ago

  • Pallante allows six earned runs in loss to Astros
Andre Pallante allowed six earned runs over three innings while striking out one in Tuesday’s loss to the Astros.

Advice: Things didn’t go well for Palante, who needed 75 pitches to get through his three innings of work. After allowing two runs in the first inning, Palante would allow four runs in the third, with the most notable coming on a three-run homer by Yanier Diaz. It was the worst outing of the season for Pallante, who has now started back-to-back games for the Cards after serving as a reliever for the first two months of the season. If Pallante gets the nod for his next start, it would likely come on Sunday against the Rockies. Rotoworld 8 minutes ago

  • Snares another win
Burnes (6-2) picked up the win Tuesday against Toronto, allowing one run on four hits and one walk across seven innings. He struck out five.

Advice: The lone run against Burnes came on a George Springer solo homer in the seventh frame. Burnes hasn't allowed more than three runs in a start this season and has logged eight straight quality starts. On the year, Burnes owns a 2.25 ERA with 76 strikeouts across 79.2 innings and is tied for the league lead in quality starts. Burnes is scheduled for a road start against the Rays on Sunday. • Imanaga allows one run as Cubs down White Sox
Shota Imanaga allowed one earned run in 4 1/3 innings while striking out six in Tuesday’s win over the White Sox.

Advice: Imanaga, who didn’t earn a decision in this one, allowed just two base runners through his first three innings but ran into trouble in the fourth after back-to-back singles by Andrew Vaughn and Luis Robert Jr. kickstarted what turned into a five-run inning for the White Sox. Imanaga was charged with just one earned run on the night, but the White Sox did their part to get to him early. A double by Korey Lee would put the White Sox up 3-0, but Lenyn Sosa’s two-run homer just a few batters later quickly pushed that lead to 5-0. Imanaga would be pulled with one out in the fifth inning after a rain delay and is scheduled to make his next start on Sunday against the Reds. Rotoworld 20 minutes ago

  • Frankie Montas limits Rockies to one hit in win
Frankie Montas allowed only one hit over seven innings and struck out nine Tuesday in the Reds’ 4-1 defeat of the Rockies.

Advice: The seven innings and nine strikeouts were both season highs for Montas, who lowered his ERA from 4.60 to 4.00 in earning his first win since Apr. 3. A victory against the Rockies isn’t enough to warrant a mixed-league pickup, but it was encouraging to see Montas’s velocity up a bit tonight. He generated 20 missed swings on his 96 pitches. • Ty Blach gives up four runs in loss to Reds
Ty Blach surrendered four runs and 10 hits in five innings Tuesday in a loss to the Reds,

Advice: Blach has performed well in three of his six starts for Colorado, so that’s still a passing grade for a Rockies pitcher. He’ll take a 2-3 record and a 4.54 ERA into his next start versus the Cardinals. Rotoworld 20 minutes ago

  • Flexen’s solid outing spoiled by bullpen in loss
Chris Flexen allowed one earned run and three hits over five innings in Tuesday’s loss to the Cubs.

Advice: Flexen left the game with a 5-1 lead, which the White Sox’s bullpen gave away as part of a four-run sixth inning. It’s a tough break for Flexen, who had one of his better starts of the season on the road at Wrigley. Flexen has allowed just three earned runs in his last 10 innings pitched but benefitted from back-to-back starts against the Blue Jays and Cubs. After being robbed of a win in this one, Flexen will look to earn his third win of the season in his next start, which is scheduled for Sunday against the Red Sox. Rotoworld 27 minutes ago

  • Foley earns one-out save in win over Rangers
Jason Foley earned his 12th save of the season in Tuesday’s win over the Rangers.

Advice: Foley was brought on in relief of Tyler Horton with two outs in the ninth to secure the win for the Tigers. Foley needed just five pitches to force Wyatt Langford into a ground-out and has not allowed a run in his three appearances this month. Rotoworld 35 minutes ago
  • Struggles in long relief
Francis allowed four runs on five hits and no walks with two strikeouts across 3.1 innings against the Orioles on Tuesday.

Advice: Francis was activated from the 15-day IL leading up to the contest and was expected to follow Trevor Richards in bulk relief. Instead, he was the third Blue Jay pitcher to take the mound, taking over for Genesis Cabrera midway through the third inning. Frances was tormented by Ryan Mountcastle, surrendering a three-run home run and a two-run home run to the Orioles' first baseman. While Toronto is hoping for Francis to take the fifth rotation spot vacated by Alek Manoah (elbow), Francis didn't do much to prove that he's worthy of the role Tuesday. Rotowire.com 38 minutes ago
