    Rays activated INF Taylor Walls from the 60-day injured list.

    Advice: Tampa Bay designated Harold Ramirez for assignment to make room for Walls, who has been on the injured list all season as he recovered from offseason hip surgery.     The Rays activated Walls (hip) from the 60-day injured list Friday, Tricia Whitaker of Bally Sports Sun reports.

    Advice: Walls has been out all season following offseason hip surgery and had his recovery delayed due to inflammation in the hip. However, he recently got back up to speed during a five-game rehab stint with Triple-A Durham, going 8-for-21 at the plate.     O'Neill started at designated hitter and went 2-for-3 with two runs scored in Thursday's 14-2 win over the White Sox.

    Advice: This was O'Neill's second game back after being reinstated from the injured list Wednesday. He played nine innings in right field Wednesday. The veteran outfielder hit safely in both games, going 4-for-7 with a walk, an RBI and three runs scored.     Advice: Marte delivered the go-ahead run in the seventh inning when his two-out single plated Corbin Carroll. Marte has rebounded nicely from an 0-for-22 skid in late May, going 11-for-28 (.393) with two home runs, two doubles, six RBI and five runs scored over the last eight contests. The Diamondbacks' offense could get a boost if the struggling Carroll can build off his three-hit performance Thursday, which would give Marte more run-producing opportunities.     Bobby Witt Jr. reached twice while stealing two bases in a 4-3 win for the Royals over the Guardians on Thursday.

    Advice: Witt Jr. is now up to 19 thefts on the year. The speedy superstar is playing at an MVP level with a .317/.371/.560 slash, and has picked up hits in each game thus far in June. If 2025 drafts were held now — and they are decidedly not — it’d be hard to argue that he wouldn’t be the first pick in the overwhelming majority of leagues. Scary to think he’s still only 23, too.     Advice: Rodgers accounted for the majority of his production with a two-RBI single in the first inning. He now has at least one extra-base hit and one RBI in three straight games and has driven in eight runs across his last seven starts.
