• Swipes two bags in win
Mullins went 2-for-5 with two stolen bases and two runs scored in Thursday's win over the White Sox.

Advice: Mullins grounded into a fielder's choice play in his first at-bat before going on to steal second and third and eventually coming home for Baltimore's first run of the contest. He would add a single and come around to score for a second time during a four-run fourth inning for the Orioles and finished the night with two hits for only the second time this month. Mullins is still batting just .160 (8-for-50) in May following the two-hit performance, though he's now swiped four bags over his last five games. Rotowire.com 32 minutes ago
  • Begins rehab assignment
Martinez (hand) went 0-for-3 with a strikeout Thursday in his first rehab game with the Arizona Complex League Guardians.

Advice: Martinez began the season on the injured list with a right foot contusion but then suffered a fractured hamate bone six weeks ago while on a rehab assignment for the foot injury. The 22-year-old will eventually move up to a higher affiliate and is likely to be optioned to Triple-A Columbus once he's deemed ready rather than be added to the Guardians' roster. • Big day on offense
Mateo went 2-for-2 with a three-run home run, a stolen base and two runs scored in Thursday's win over the Tigers while also drawing two walks.

Advice: Mateo walked and stole second in his opening at-bat before coming around to score Baltimore's first run of the game on an Adley Rutschman single. The second baseman then broke open a 2-2 game with a three-run shot in the fourth and went on to reach base four times in the contest. The home run was Mateo's third of the season and he's now hit safely in six of his last seven games, going 7-for-22 (.318) over that stretch with four RBI, six runs scored and four stolen bases. • Starts rehab assignment
Saucedo (knee) struck out one over a scoreless inning Thursday in his first rehab appearance with Triple-A Tacoma.

Advice: Saucedo landed on the 15-day injured list a little over two weeks ago with a hyperextended right knee. Because he hasn't missed much time, the left-handed reliever shouldn't need more than a couple rehab appearances, setting himself up for a return within the next few days. • Grabs 10th save
Kimbrel picked up the save on Thursday, pitching a perfect two-thirds of an inning in an 8-6 victory over the White Sox.

Advice: It was actually Jonathan Heasley who came out to start the ninth inning after also appearing in the eighth, though he would quickly run into trouble after failing to retire the first four batters he faced in the frame. He would be relieved by Yennier Cano, but the latter would also struggle, allowing three runs to come across to make it an 8-6 ballgame. That's when Kimbrel came in to save the day, needing just two pitches to record the final two outs on a double play ball -- though Andrew Vaughn was technically called out on runner's interference for the last out. The veteran reliever has converted each of his three save attempts this month after blowing back-to-back saves to close out April. He also hasn't allowed any hits or walks in those save appearances while posting five strikeouts. Rotowire.com 59 minutes ago
  • Could return in early June
Robert (hip) could rejoin the White Sox following a full week of rehab games with Triple-A Charlotte, Daryl Van Schouwen of the Chicago Sun-Times reports.

Advice: Robert has played one rehab game with the Arizona Complex League White Sox, homering in that contest. He's slated to join Charlotte on Tuesday to continue ramping things up and it sounds like he could be activated by the White Sox as soon as June 4 against the Cubs if all goes well. Robert has been sidelined since early April with a Grade 2 right hip flexor strain. Rotowire.com Today, 6:37 am

  • Mariners send Saucedo (knee) on Triple-A rehab
Mariners sent Tyler Saucedo (knee) on rehab assignment with Triple-A Tacoma.

Advice: Saucedo is recovering from right knee hyperextension. The 30-year-old left-hander shouldn’t need many appearances with Triple-A before returning to the Mariners’ bullpen. Rotoworld Today, 6:02 am

  • Guardians send Angel Martinez on rehab assignment
Guardians sent SS Angel Martinez (hand) on a rehab assignment to the Arizona Complex League.

Advice: After starting the season on the injured list with a foot contusion, Martinez later suffered a fractured hamate bone in his hand. The 22-year-old will start this rehab process with the Guardians’ rookie affiliate. Rotoworld Today, 5:40 am

  • Kimbrel picks up 10th save Thursday
Craig Kimbrel picked up the save against the White Sox on Thursday.

Advice: With the bases loaded and a five-run lead in the ninth inning, Orioles manager Brandon Hyde went to Yennier Cano for what was an unconventional save opportunity. Cano hit Andrew Vaughn and allowed a two run single to Gavin Sheets to make it a two-run game. After striking out Zach DeLoach, Cano was removed in favor of Kimbrel, who got Andrew Benintendi to pop into a double play. The save was Kimbrel’s 10th of the season and his third since returning to the closer’s role. Rotoworld Yesterday, 8:06 pm
