    • Justin Turner batting cleanup in Seattle debut
Justin Turner is at first base and batting cleanup on Tuesday against the Red Sox.

Advice: Turner will make his Mariners debut on Tuesday night at familiar Fenway Park against his former team. The 39-year-old veteran, who was traded to Seattle earlier this week from Toronto, is unlikely to make much of a fantasy impact, but his presence was enough to bump top prospect Tyler Locklear back to the minors. • Drives in run in return
Polanco (knee) started at second base and went 0-for-2 with an RBI sacrifice fly in a loss to the Red Sox on Monday.

Advice: Polanco was replaced defensively by Leo Rivas to start the sixth inning, but the veteran infielder seemed to tolerate his time in the game well after exiting Sunday's win over the White Sox with a knee injury. Polanco did see a four-game hitting streak snapped, but the RBI he mustered on his sac fly was his sixth in the last four contests. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 9:47 am

    • On base three times in loss
Rojas went 2-for-3 with a walk in a loss to the Red Sox on Monday.

Advice: Rojas served up his first multi-hit effort since July 2 while also drawing his fourth walk in the last three games. The 30-year-old remains locked into a near-everyday role, and he's in the midst of a brief but promising upswing that's seen him produce a .286 average and .474 on-base percentage over his last five games. • Records 24th steal
Garcia went 2-for-4 with a double, a stolen base and two runs scored in Monday's 8-5 win over the White Sox.

Advice: Since Garcia was dropped from the leadoff spot July 7, he's batting .327 (16-for-49) with three extra-base hits and three steals over 15 contests. He's hit atop the order twice in that span, but has most often batted eighth and occasionally seventh. It appears he's doing more with less, and his speed makes him an interesting fantasy option even without the leadoff gig. Garcia has a career-high 24 steals to go with six home runs, 45 RBI, 64 runs scored, 18 doubles, five triples and a .238/.287/.350 slash line over 104 contests this season. • Enjoys massive day in doubleheader
Westburg went 5-for-8 with a home run, three doubles, four RBI, three runs and a walk against Baltimore across both games of Monday's doubleheader.

Advice: Westburg racked up three doubles in the first game and added a two-run homer int he nightcap, and he accumulated 11 total bases over both contests. The shortstop had been pretty cold coming into the twin bill, batting .167 (4-for-24) over his previous six games. On the season, Westburg is slashing .273/.320/.505 with 18 homers, 25 doubles, five triples, 58 RBI, 54 runs and six stolen bases over 99 contests. Rotowire.com Monday, 11:13 pm

    • Jordan Westburg hits two-run homer in defeat
Jordan Westburg went 2-for-3 with a two-run homer and a walk Monday in the second game of a doubleheader against the Blue Jays.

Advice: This after he had three doubles in the first game. Westburg raised his OPS from .799 to .825 today. While there still seems to be a certain skepticism about whether he’s really this good of a hitter, there’s a whole lot to like about his exit velocity numbers, and it’s not hard to imagine him getting even better if he can just lay off a few more sliders. • Leaves early Monday
Bae left Monday's contest against the Astros early with left knee discomfort.

Advice: Bae was forced to the leave the game in the bottom of the sixth inning after appearing to tweak something in his left knee while trying to leg out a bunt in the top of the frame. He finished his day 0-for-2 at the plate and more information on his status moving forward will likely be provided in the near future. Rotowire.com Monday, 7:39 pm

    • Pirates say Ji Hwan Bae has left knee discomfort
The Pirates said Ji Hwan Bae has left knee discomfort and is being examined.

Advice: That’s not a real diagnosis, and we’re guessing Bae is IL bound, which should lead to Jack Suwinski’s recall. If Joshua Palacios goes on the IL, too, then Edward Olivares might also rejoin the Pirates. Really, though, the team ought to be looking at acquiring an outfielder. Rotoworld Monday, 7:37 pm

    • Ji Hwan Bae exits game due to leg injury
Ji Hwan Bae left Monday’s game in the sixth inning with an apparent left leg injury sustained running to first base.

Advice: He had to be helped off, so this is probably more than a day-to-day thing. It’s terrible timing for Bae, who suddenly seemed to be in line for quite a bit of playing time with Jack Suwinski getting sent down and Nick Gonzales going on the IL. Suwinski might be recalled now.
