    • Snaps homer drought
Pasquantino went 1-for-4 with a solo home run Monday in a 4-1 win against the Marlins.

Advice: Pasquantino put the Royals on the board in the fourth inning with his solo blast to right field. It was the first baseman's first long ball since the first day of June, a span of 20 contests. While Pasquantino hasn't been able to hit the ball over the fence regularly this season, he does have 20 doubles (tied for 10th in the majors) and has already blown away his previous season-best mark with 47 RBI through 76 games. • Drives in three Monday
Meneses went 3-for-5 with a double and three RBI in Monday's 7-6 extra-inning loss to the Padres.

Advice: All three of Meneses' hits drove in a run to erase the Padres' early 3-0 lead. He's been hitting well lately, going 15-for-46 (.326) with 10 RBI and five extra-base hits over his last 13 games. Meneses is at a .246/.302/.327 slash line for the year while adding three home runs, two stolen bases, 40 RBI and 18 runs scored over 275 plate appearances. He had a slow start in 2023 as well, but he'd need a big second half to get up to his level from last year (.275/.321/.401). Rotowire.com Today, 10:36 pm

    • Joey Meneses has three hits, three RBI in loss
Joey Meneses went 3-for-5 with a double and three RBI against the Padres on Monday.

Advice: Meneses still really needs a few more games like this, given his struggles to date, and though the Nationals won’t want to make the move, there’s the chance he’ll be optioned out after Joey Gallo comes off the IL. Meneses is currently hitting .246/.302/.327 for the season, though much like in 2023, he has made the most of his contact; he’s driven in 40 runs in 67 games. Rotoworld Today, 10:20 pm

    • Clubs fifth homer
Nevin went 1-for-3 with a solo home run and a walk in Monday's 5-1 loss to the Angels.

Advice: Nevin provided the Athletics' lone run with his solo shot off Griffin Canning in the second inning. Over six games since he rejoined Oakland's 26-man roster, he's gone 3-for-18 (.167) with two RBI. The infielder is slashing .213/.300/.348 with five homers, 12 RBI, 13 runs scored, four doubles and one stolen base over 160 plate appearances. While Nevin's hitting is nothing special, he'll have a chance to claim a regular spot in the lineup while Abraham Toro (hamstring) is sidelined for at least a month. Rotowire.com Today, 10:09 pm

    • Aledmys Díaz goes 0-for-3 against Angels
Aledmys Díaz went 0-for-3 with a strikeout as Oakland’s No. 9 hitter Monday against the Angels.

Advice: The A’s got ridiculously lucky that someone took Jace Peterson off their hands last summer, so they’ll keep giving Díaz the occasional start in the hopes that lightning will strike twice. The 33-year-old Díaz is 3-for-27 since returning from a calf injury on May 28. He hit .229/.280/.337 last year in the first season of a two-year, $14.5 million contract. Rotoworld Today, 9:37 pm

    • Rhys Hoskins hits grand slam in Brewers’ 6-3 win
Rhys Hoskins hit his third career grand slam Monday to lead the Brewers to a 6-3 win over the Rangers.

Advice: His previous slams came with the Phillies in 2019 and 2022. Hoskins has 11 homers through 57 games this season, though he had been without one since June 3. The multi-RBI game tonight was actually his first since he did it three games in a row from May 9-11. Rotoworld Today, 9:15 pm

    • Nathaniel Lowe goes 0-for-4, fans three times
Nathaniel Lowe went 0-for-4 and struck out three times against the Brewers in Monday’s loss.

Advice: Lowe looked like a long-term answer at first base for the Rangers in 2022, but his power production fell off last year and has continued to decline this season, as he’s managed just two homers and three barrels through 228 plate appearances. His .351 OBP is nice, so it seems unlikely that the Rangers will try to upgrade this summer. However, if he fails to step it up, he’s going to be a non-tender candidate this winter. • Renfroe hits seventh home run in win Monday
Hunter Renfroe went 1-for-2 with a walk and a solo home run against the Marlins on Monday.

Advice: Signs of life? Renfroe’s home run was his seventh of the year. He’s still only hitting .198 on the year with a .652 OPS. With the Royals optioning Nelson Velasquez to the minors, Renfroe has to understand it’s getting to be that time where he might not keep his job if his numbers don’t improve. Rotoworld Today, 7:54 pm

    • Stays hot Monday
Guerrero went 3-for-4 with a three-run homer and a double in Monday's loss to Boston.

Advice: Guerrero knocked a three-run blast to cap off Toronto's five-run seventh inning. He hit (.235) through 14 games to begin the month but has since gone 12-for-34 (.353) with three homers over his last eight contests. Those three homers have come in his last four games after he hit just three over his previous 39 appearances. Guerrero is slashing .286/.368/.429 with 36 RBI and 23 extra-base hits.
