      Advice: Senzel went deep in the top of the 10th inning to give the Nationals a 6-3 lead, but the Padres rallied back for a walk-off. After starting June hot, Senzel has gone a mere 4-for-32 9.125) over his last 10 contests.       Jurickson Profar delivered the game-winner in the 10th as the Padres edged the Nationals 7-6 on Monday.

      Advice: Profar’s lone hit in five at-bats seemed to hang in the air forever, but it was put in the perfect spot to elude Lane Thomas and Jacob Young in right-center. The two-run single — it would have been at least a double under normal circumstances — came after Luis Arraez was walked to load the bases. Profar has hit in eight straight games, but since he’s collected just nine hits in that span and he’s been so productive on the season, he’s lost 20 points of OPS during the stretch (.917 to .897).       Advice: Meneses still really needs a few more games like this, given his struggles to date, and though the Nationals won’t want to make the move, there’s the chance he’ll be optioned out after Joey Gallo comes off the IL. The infielder is slashing .213/.300/.348 with five homers, 12 RBI, 13 runs scored, four doubles and one stolen base over 160 plate appearances.       Jo Adell finished 0-for-4 against the A’s on Monday, leaving him 7-for-63 with one homer in June.

      Advice: Adell looked like maybe the AL’s most improved player over the first quarter of the season, but he’s all of the way down to .181/.242/.386 now. At least his defensive gains have remained intact. The Angels ought to keep playing him regularly, probably for the rest of the season, but it’s certainly still up for debate whether he belongs in their plans for 2025 and beyond.
