    • Zach Eflin (back) likely to return this week
Zach Eflin (back) threw a 40-pitch bullpen session on Sunday without any issues and afterwards declared himself “ready to go”.

Advice: The 30-year-old right-hander is expected to rejoin the Rays’ rotation this week, perhaps on Wednesday against the Marlins in Miami. Prior to landing on the injured list with inflammation in his lower back, Eflin had registered a 4.12 ERA, 1.17 WHUP and a 44/4 K/BB ratio over 59 innings of work. Rotoworld 10 minutes ago

    • Checks boxes in bullpen session
Eflin (back) threw a 40-pitch bullpen session Sunday, MLB.com reports.

Advice: Sunday's session was Eflin's second bullpen in the last four days. He threw two simulated innings and came away feeling good. There hasn't been an official date set for his return, but Eflin said he's "checked the boxes" in his recovery and could return as early as June 5 against Miami. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 10:23 pm

    • Seven strong innings
King came away with a no-decision Sunday against the Royals, allowing one run on four hits and two walks while striking out four over seven innings.

Advice: King was sharp, not allowing an extra-base hit and turning in another quality start, his fifth over his past six contests. The 29-year-old snapped a three-game streak allowing a home run, something he has struggled with all season -- his 1.8 HR/9 ranks in the ninth percentile. On the whole, King has been solid this season, recording a 3.82 ERA and 1.23 WHIP with a 78:31 K:BB across 73 innings. The right-hander will look to build off this success in his next start, tentatively scheduled for this weekend against Arizona. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 10:00 pm

    • Knocks sixth homer
Chourio went 2-for-4 with a three-run homer in Sunday's win over the White Sox.

Advice: Chourio belted a three-run shot during Milwaukee's four-run second inning. It was his first long ball since May 15, snapping a 12-game drought. During that stretch, he was 6-for-36 (.167) with just two extra-base hits. The highly-touted prospect is still trying to find his footing at the MLB level; he's slashing .214/.257/.345 with 10 extra-base hits and a 10:49 BB:K through 52 games. • Michael King gets tough luck no decision vs KC
Michael King allowed one run on four hits in seven innings in a no-decision against the Royals.

Advice: King was all set to record the win with the Padres up 3-1 heading into the bottom of the ninth inning. However, with their bullpen being taxed heavily over the last few days, the Padres had to go with Yuki Matsui to close the game, and he allowed three runs while only recording one out. King was only able to induce eight whiffs on 48 swings for a 17 percent whiff rate and 24 percent CSW, but he allowed an average exit velocity on all batted balls of just 84 mph. Despite some poor starts, he has been a solid fantasy starter for much of the year and makes for a fine play against the Diamondbacks next week. Rotoworld Yesterday, 2:37 pm

    • Jackson Chourio has HR, three RBI in win
Jackson Chourio went 2-for-4 with a home run on three RBI in a 6-3 win over the White Sox on Sunday.

Advice: Chourio got the Brewers on the board in the second inning by socking a three-run home run 385 feet at 102.5 mph off the bat. It was his sixth home run of the season, and he now has 19 RBI on the year. Chourio has an elevated strikeout rate which has helped keep his batting average down, but he has shown a fantasy-friendly profile with the six home runs and seven steals. It may not fully click this year for the 20-year-old, but the future is certainly bright. Rotoworld Yesterday, 2:05 pm

    • Out against righty Sunday
Gimenez is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Nationals.

Advice: Gimenez took a seat Saturday against southpaw Mitchell Parker, but the lefty-hitting infielder will remain on the bench for the series finale versus the Nationals even while a right-hander (Jake Irvin) takes the bump for Washington. The Guardians may have just been looking to get an extended break for Gimenez, who had started in every game dating back to May 10 before his back-to-back absences. Daniel Schneemann was called up from Triple-A Columbus earlier Sunday and will pick up his first MLB start in place of Gimenez at the keystone. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 10:33 am

    • Late addition to lineup
Contreras is starting behind the plate and batting second Sunday against the White Sox.

Advice: The 26-year-old catcher was scheduled to receive his first day off of the season Sunday, but he apparently convinced manager Pat Murphy to continue the starting streak. Contreras has gone 6-for-25 with no extra-base hits over the past six games versus the Cubs and White Sox. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 10:26 am
    • Resting against southpaw
Lowe is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Orioles, Marc Topkin of the Tampa Bay Times reports.

Advice: Lowe will hit the bench along with fellow left-handed hitters Jonathan Aranda, Ben Rortvedt and Richie Palacios as the Rays roll with a full right-handed-hitting lineup versus Orioles southpaw Cole Irvin. Amed Rosario will fill in for Lowe at second base. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 9:31 am
