    • Fires seven innings
Webb (5-5) allowed two runs on five hits over seven innings Friday, striking out six and earning a win over the Rangers.

Advice: Webb kept Texas off the board for four frames before the Rangers plated two runs in the fifth inning. Outside of that inning, he allowed just one baserunner. Webb threw seven innings in his last outing but saw his streak of four straight quality starts come to an end. With Friday's quality start in the books, he has 10 in his 14 appearances this season. Webb will carry a 2.92 ERA into his next start, which is lined up to be at home against Houston next week. Rotowire.com 9 minutes ago

    • Registers another quality start
Berrios allowed two runs on six hits and three walks while striking out two batters over six innings in a no-decision against Baltimore on Wednesday.

Advice: Berrios didn't do much in the strikeout department with just two punchouts, but he was nonetheless very effective in recording his fifth straight quality start. The right-hander has just one win during that span but has put up a very solid 2.73 ERA. Aside from an eight-run, 3.2 inning blowup against Philadelphia on May 7, Berrios has been a model of consistency this season, allowing three or fewer runs in each of his other 12 starts. On the campaign, he's registered a 2.80 ERA along with a 60:21 K:BB across 80.1 innings. Rotowire.com Wednesday, 10:32 pm
    • Goes four innings in return
Eflin didn't factor into the decision Wednesday against the Marlins, allowing two runs on three hits and no walks across four innings. He struck out three.

Advice: Eflin was activated from the 15-day IL for Wednesday's start and was yanked after 55 pitches. He was expected to be under a pitch count after being stretched out to only 40 pitches during his recovery from a back injury. The 30-year-old had to shake off a little rust, allowing all three hits and both runs in the first inning before retiring nine straight batters to close out the start. While Eflin will likely remain limited for the next few starts, he's worth a look in his next projected start, which is scheduled for Tuesday against the Cubs. Rotowire.com Wednesday, 9:41 pm

    • Keeps winning
Skenes (3-0) picked up the win Wednesday against the Dodgers, allowing three runs on six hits and one walk across five innings with eight strikeouts.

Advice: While Skenes picked up his third victory in five career starts, he didn't make it out of Wednesday's start unscathed. Each of the three runs attributed to the rookie came off a home run, with Shohei Ohtani belting a two-run homer in the third inning before Andy Pages went yard for a solo shot in the fifth. At 22 years of age, Skenes has already established himself as an above-average MLB starter, holding a 3.00 ERA with an excellent 38:6 K:BB across 27.0 innings. He's on schedule for a road start against the Cardinals on Tuesday. Rotowire.com Wednesday, 9:05 pm

    • José Berríos delivers quality start versus Orioles
José Berríos allowed two runs over six innings Wednesday in a no-decision versus the Orioles.

Advice: Berríos delivered a sixth straight quality start, though he has only one win during the span. Tonight’s outing did nothing at all for his FIP, which has lagged way behind his ERA all year, but he continued to defy his peripherals in finishing the game with two strikeouts, three walks and a homer allowed (a solo shot to Anthony Santander). He’s 5-4 with a 2.80 ERA. Rotoworld Wednesday, 8:18 pm
    • Paul Skenes fans eight Dodgers, moves to 3-0
Paul Skenes improved to 3-0 after allowing three runs in five innings and striking out eight Wednesday against the Dodgers.

Advice: Skenes surrendered homers to Shohei Ohtani and Andy Pages, matching his total of two allowed in his first four starts, but he once against received ample run support from a Pirates offense that has often scuffled for, well, going on 30 years now. The team has scored 10, nine, six, 10 and nine runs in Skenes’ five starts. That’s 11 more runs in five games than the 33 runs totaled in Jared Jones’ 12 starts this season. • Zach Eflin goes four innings in return from IL
Zach Eflin pitched well in his return from the injured list on Wednesday, allowing two runs on three hits over four frames in a no-decision against the Marlins.

Advice: Eflin struck out three batters on the evening and didn’t allow a base on balls. The Marlins scored a pair of two-out runs against him in the opening inning on an RBI double by Jesus Sanchez and an RBI single by Otto Lopez. He settled in nicely afterwards though and blanked the Fish over his final three innings. The 30-year-old hurler got five whiffs on 55 pitches in the contest, posting a CSW of only 18 percent. He’ll tote a 4.14 ERA, 1.14 WHIP and a 47/4 K/BB ratio (63 innings) into Tuesday’s start against the Cubs. Rotoworld Wednesday, 6:04 pm

    • Jordan Montgomery’s struggles continue vs. Giants
Jordan Montgomery was torched for six runs over two innings on Wednesday in a loss to the Giants.

Advice: Montgomery kicked off the contest with a pair of scoreless frames before coming completely unraveled in a calamitous third inning when San Francisco struck for six runs on six hits, including a pair of homers. He finished with two strikeouts and also issued one walk. The 31-year-old lefty has been hit extremely hard in his Arizona debut so far, allowing six earned runs in back-to-back outings and three of his nine starts so far since April 19. He’ll bring a bloated 6.80 ERA, 1.73 WHIP and 29/18 K/BB ratio across 46 1/3 innings (nine starts). He’s going to improve at some point, but it’s difficult for fantasy managers to trust him at the moment until he shows some signs that he’s turning things around. Rotoworld Wednesday, 5:12 pm
    • Hit hard in Wednesday's loss
Montgomery (3-4) took the loss Wednesday, coughing up six runs on seven hits and three walks over two-plus innings as Arizona fell 9-3 to San Francisco. He struck out one.

Advice: The southpaw held the Giants off the board for two innings, but things fell apart quickly in the third, highlighted by Wilmer Flores' grand slam -- the first slam Montgomery has ever served up in his career. The 31-year-old has been tagged for 14 runs in only six innings over his last two starts, and he'll carry a 6.80 ERA, 1.73 WHIP and 29:18 K:BB through 46.1 innings into his next start, which lines up to come at home early next week against the Angels.
