    • Edouard Julien goes 0-for-2, gets lifted
Edouard Julien was lifted for a pinch-hitter after going 0-for-2 against the Astros on Friday.

Advice: A demotion to Triple-A for Julien is very much a possibility as the countermove for when Royce Lewis rejoins the Twins. He’s still very likely Minnesota’s long-term second baseman, but he’s not currently getting the job done while hitting .205/.305/.367. Willi Castro could slide to second in his place. • Two thefts in loss
Neto went 2-for-3 with two stolen bases in Friday's 5-4 loss to the Mariners.

Advice: Neto singled and then stole second and third in the seventh inning, but he wasn't brought home. The shortstop had gone 16 games without a stolen base, though he hit a respectable .264 (14-for-53) with seven extra-base hits in that span. For the season, Neto is slashing .254/.305/.413 with eight steals, six home runs, 18 RBI, 20 runs scored and 12 doubles over 203 plate appearances in a starting role. • Picks up steal in win
Rojas went 1-for-3 with a hit-by-pitch, a stolen base and a run scored in Friday's 5-4 win over the Angels.

Advice: Rojas has logged two steals over his last four games, giving him six thefts on the year. He was one of the Mariners' top hitters early in May, but he's gone a poor 6-for-47 (.128) over his last 15 contests, though three of the hits in that span have been doubles. Rojas' slump has him down to a .276/.345/.408 slash line with three home runs, 10 RBI and 17 runs scored across 168 plate appearances. He's on the strong side of a platoon at third base, with Dylan Moore often checking in at the hot corner versus southpaws. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 11:00 pm

    • Nabs steal in return
Raley (lat) went 1-for-4 with a double and a stolen base in Friday's 5-4 win over the Angels.

Advice: Raley missed a game due to lat soreness, but it appears to be a minor issue. Prior to Friday, Raley went 1-for-19 over his previous seven contests while racking up 10 strikeouts in that span. He's been decent in 2024 with a .260/.297/.397 slash line, four home runs, five stolen bases, 12 RBI and 16 runs scored over 138 plate appearances. Raley is likely to continue working in a strong-side platoon role in left field. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 10:56 pm

    • Perfect at plate Friday
France went 3-for-3 with a solo home run, a two-run double and a walk in Friday's 5-4 win over the Angels.

Advice: France ended up a triple shy of the cycle, but he hasn't legged out a three-bagger since 2022. The infielder went 14-for-39 (.359) with three homers and nine RBI over his last 12 games in May, making him one of the Mariners' hotter hitters. For the year, France has a .260/.325/.411 slash line, seven homers, 24 RBI, 18 runs scored and eight doubles over 55 contests while seeing a starting role at first base. • Bonjour: Ty France hits go-ahead homer vs. Angels
Ty France went 3-for-3 with three RBI including a go-ahead homer in the eighth to give the Mariners a 5-4 win against the Angels on Friday.

Advice: Bonjour. France drove in two runs with a double in the first, and then broke a 4-4 tie with a homer off Andrew Moore. The 29-year-old got off to a very mediocre start, but he’s swung the bat well enough as of late to improve his slash to .260/.325/.411 with seven homers and 24 RBI. Far from elite numbers, but France appears to be figuring things out as of late. Worth a look for those in need at a corner-infield spot. Rotoworld Yesterday, 10:03 pm

    • Paul DeJong homers in loss to Brewers
Paul DeJong went 2-for-4 with a homer in a loss Friday to the Brewers.

Advice: DeJong also doubled. The shortstop has homered eight times while driving in 18 runs with a .426 slugging mark. Unfortunately, he hasn’t helped much in any other categories — and the RBI aren’t all that impressive, either, if being blunt — so his fantasy value remains limited. Rotoworld Yesterday, 9:06 pm
    • Slugs homer Friday
Crawford went 2-for-2 with a solo home run in Friday's 4-2 loss to the Phillies.

Advice: Crawford hadn't played since May 19, but he got the start at shortstop to give Masyn Winn a breather Friday. The homer was Crawford's first extra-base hit of the campaign, though he's logged just 37 plate appearances over 12 contests through the end of May. The 37-year-old shortstop is firmly in a bench role without enough playing time to make an impact in most fantasy formats. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 9:05 pm
    • Released by Mets
The Mets released Choi on Friday, Anthony DiComo of MLB.com reports.

Advice: Choi had a June 1 opt-out in his minor-league deal with the Mets, but he'll hit the open market a day early. The 33-year-old slashed .183/.307/.317 across 101 plate appearances at Triple-A Syracuse and will likely look to sign a minor-league deal elsewhere. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 8:18 pm
