    • Mason Miller whiffs two in All-Star Game outing
Mason Miller recorded a pair of strikeouts in a scoreless inning during Tuesday’s MLB All-Star Game at Globe Life Field.

Advice: Miller’s flawless frame also included an eye-popping strikeout of Shohei Ohtani on a nasty 89 mph slider on the heels of a 101.8 mph fastball. He also delivered a sizzling 103.6 mph fastball, the fastest pitch in All-Star Game history in the Statcast era, prior to striking out Trea Turner. Fantasy managers are looking at arguably the best closer in baseball right now. The hard-throwing 25-year-old righty talked earlier this week about potentially returning to the starting rotation in the future, which would be a pretty significant development for his fantasy appeal. • Not playing in All-Star Game
Correa (heel) was removed Monday from the American League All-Star Game roster and was replaced by the Rangers' Corey Seager, the Associated Press reports.

Advice: Though Correa is still expected to attend All-Star festivities in Arlington, Texas this week, his removal from the roster comes as little surprise after he missed the Twins' final two games before the break due to plantar fasciitis in his right heel. Dan Hayes of The Athletic relays that Correa's latest case of plantar fasciitis isn't as severe as his bout with the injury to his left foot during 2023 season, but it's not yet clear whether Correa will be back in action when the Twins return to action Saturday versus the Brewers. • Aiming to return by end of July
Trout (knee) has been swinging a bat as part of his rehab activities and is targeting a return from the 10-day injured list by the end of July, Jill Painter Lopez of the Associated Press reports.

Advice: Trout hasn't yet done work in the outfield, but he's anticipating being able to rejoin the Angels at the end of July. The future Hall of Famer hasn't played in a game since going 0-for-3 against Philadelphia on April 29. It's not yet clear if he'll play in any minor-league rehab games prior to rejoining the big club. Rotowire.com Monday, 1:58 pm

    • Fires six shutout innings
Pepiot (6-5) yielded two hits over six scoreless frames Sunday, striking out four and earning a win over the Guardians.

Advice: Pepiot gave up a pair of singles and plunked one batter but never faced much of a threat Sunday. He generated 12 swinging strikes, with six coming via the fastball. Pepiot has been fairly inconsistent in the first half of 2024 but owns a solid 3.92 ERA with a 94:31 K:BB through 17 appearances. Over his last four outings, he's registered a 1.71 ERA but has turned in just one quality start. Rotowire.com Sunday, 8:24 pm

    • Blake Snell takes no-no into seventh against Twins
Blake Snell allowed one hit over seven scoreless innings and struck out eight against the Twins on Sunday.

Advice: Snell allowed just one hard-hit ball, which turned into an out. The lone hit against him was a clean single from Manuel Margot on a 97-mph fastball in the on the hands in the seventh. Snell walked none and was at just 80 pitches through seven, but since he’s coming back from injury, the Giants weren’t going to push it. He’s allowed two hits over 12 scoreless innings since coming off the IL, lowering his ERA from 9.51 to 6.31. Rotoworld Sunday, 5:21 pm
    • James Outman goes 0-for-2, gets pulled
James Outman went 0-for-2 with a strikeout before being pulled for a pinch-hitter Sunday against the Tigers.

Advice: Outman went 3-for-5 in his first two games back in the majors, but he’s 0-for-8 with seven strikeouts since. Jason Heyward could rejoin the Dodgers on Friday, and Outman hasn’t made much of a case for sticking around. Rotoworld Sunday, 4:53 pm
    • Fantastic against Twins
Snell allowed one hit and struck out eight without walking a batter over seven scoreless innings in a no-decision versus the Twins on Sunday.

Advice: Snell carried a perfect game into the seventh inning, and he faced the minimum in his start by erasing the one hit he gave up with a double play. The left-hander was denied the win after Camilo Doval blew a save opportunity, but the Giants bounced back for the team victory. Snell has allowed two hits and three walks over 12 innings since returning from a groin injury, finally showing his skills after an injury-riddled start to 2024. He has a 6.31 ERA, 1.43 WHIP and 42:17 K:BB through 35.2 innings over eight starts, but he should be considered a buy-low target in fantasy. Rotowire.com Sunday, 4:44 pm
    • Limited to weight-room activities
Rizzo continues to be restricted in his recovery from a fracture of his right forearm, as he's currently limited to activities in the weight room, MLB.com reports.

Advice: Rizzo said he'd be unable to resume baseball activities for 4-to-5 weeks following his placement on the injured list June 18, so it's not a surprise that he hasn't yet begun to ramp up. The veteran slugger said Friday that he's "feeling good" and that the forearm has "progressed a lot" while acknowledging that he still has "some pain." While Rizzo has been out of action, rookie Ben Rice has stepped up to assume an everyday role at first base. Rotowire.com Sunday, 1:22 pm

    • Turner homers in loss for Phillies
Trea Turner went 2-for-2 with a solo home run in a loss to the A’s on Sunday.

Advice: Turner was removed from the game early with the Phillies getting absolutely destroyed, but he is fully healthy heading into the break. In fact, Turner is more than just healthy, homering in eight of his last 12 games. He may have only appeared in 57 games so far this season, but the production has been elite over those games.
