    Advice: Lindor got the Mets on the board right away, clubbing a two-run shot off Ryan Pepiot as the third batter of the game. The long ball was Lindor's sixth of the season and marked his third time logging multiple RBI in his last four games.     Ryan (1-2) was tagged with the loss after he pitched six innings, allowing three runs on four hits and a walk while striking out five batters in Sunday's 9-2 defeat to the Red Sox.

    Advice: Ryan tossed three scoreless frames to open his outing Sunday before giving up an RBI double to Rob Refsnyder in the fourth and then a two-run homer to Ceddanne Rafaela in the fifth inning. The right-hander has now recorded three straight quality starts and he has yet to allow more than three runs in any outing this season.     Advice: Manoah struggled with his command throughout, also hitting a batter to allow 11 baserunners and six earned runs including two homers during his first start of the season. It was not the type of start the Blue Jays were hoping to see out of the fourth-year starter, who compiled a 2.59 ERA, 1.01 WHIP and 307 strikeouts over 308.1 innings during his first two seasons but struggled to a 5.87 ERA and 1.74 WHIP over 87.1 innings last season spanning 19 starts. The Blue Jays are hopeful Manoah can return to form this season, but fantasy managers will be wise to proceed with skepticism until the 26-year-old righty starts to show signs that he's working past his funk.     Advice: Despite not tallying a hit, Caballero was all over the basepath, reaching thrice via walk and becoming the third player since 2020 to accumulate four steals in a game. One of those swipes came in the 10th inning when he stole third after starting the inning as the designated runner then scored on a walk-off triple by Jonny DeLuca.   • Nick Gordon has four hits, HR in win over A’s
    Nick Gordon went 4-for-4 with a home run, three RBI, and two runs scored in a 12-3 win over the A’s on Sunday.

    Advice: Gordon got the party started with a 406-foot home run off Joe Boyle in the first inning that was 104.7 mph off the bat and drove in three runs. He added two more singles and a double, all of which were hit at least 98 mph. The 28-year-old has started four of the last six games but is slashing just .207/.241/.390 on the season with four home runs and 15 RBI. He should be left on the wire outside of the deepest formats.   • Jazz Chisholm has two hits, two steals in win
    Jazz Chisholm went 2-for-4 with an RBI, two runs scored, and two steals in a win over the A’s.

    Advice: Chisholm’s two hits were both singles and both were under 93 mph off the bat; however, he made the most of both trips on the bases with two steals, which gives him seven on the season. The 26-year-old is slashing just .234/.319/.383 on the season and is just one of many Marlins off to a slow start to 2024.     Jonah Heim hit a game-tying homer in the ninth Sunday as the Rangers beat the Giants 3-2 in 10 innings.

    Advice: Heim got off to a slow start over the first 10 days, but he’s settled in nicely since, batting .296 with four homers and 16 RBI in his last 21 games. The Rangers have occasionally batted him as low as eighth and ninth, but he was in the fifth spot today against a lefty and he could hit a little higher versus righties with Wyatt Langford out.     Jon Gray held the Royals to two runs in seven innings and struck out seven against the Royals on Sunday.

    Advice: Gray got 17 missed swings today, including 13 on just 34 sliders, and walked none in another excellent outing. Since giving up five runs in his season debut, he’s allowed a total of four earned runs in 36 innings, leaving him with a 2.50 ERA.
