      Andrew Vaughn went 2-for-4 with a walk, a solo home run and three RBI against the Rockies on Sunday.



      Advice: Vaughn’s home run was his 10th of the year. He hit a solo shot off Kyle Freeland in the fourth inning to bring the White Sox within a run, walked with the bases loaded in the seventh inning to tie the game and hit a sacrifice fly in the 10th inning to tie the game. Vaughn is 34-for-106 (.320) with six home runs and 20 RBI over his last 27 games. He’s hitting .244 with a .693 OPS and 39 RBI on the season.

      Bobby Witt Jr. went 3-for-4 with two runs scored, a triple and an RBI against the Guardians on Sunday.

      Advice: Witt Jr. scored the first run of the game on Salvador Perez’ force out in the first inning.       Guerrero had X-rays on his right hand come back negative after being hit by a pitch during Sunday's loss to the Yankees, Hazel Mae of Sportsnet reports.

      Advice: The 25-year-old remained in the contest after being hit by the pitch during the third inning, but he was eventually pulled for a pinch hitter. He finished the day 1-for-2 with a base hit. Guerrero appears to have avoided a serious injury and should be considered day-to-day heading into Monday's series opener against Houston.       Kevin Gausman allowed seven runs in just 4 1/3 innings on Sunday against the Yankees. He walked five and struck out seven in a loss.

      Advice: Gausman just hasn’t been right all year. Aaron Judge crushed a first-inning fastball that wasn’t up-and-in enough and the Yankees kept traffic on the bases seemingly every inning. His tried and true game plan of fastballs and splitters does not have the same potency it used to as his fastball velocity has dipped and hitters don’t chase or whiff on that splitter like they once did.       Cruz went 2-for-3 with a two-run home run, a walk and a strikeout in Sunday's 4-2 win over Atlanta.

      Advice: Cruz hit a 452-foot missile off Spencer Schwellenbach in the fifth inning to give the Pirates a lead they wouldn't relinquish. It was the third-longest homer of his career, and it had an exit velocity of 117.3 MPH, which is also the third-hardest of his career. There have been five home runs with exit velocities of 117 or more this season, and Cruz has two of them.
