• Begins rehab in ACL
Lawlar (hamstring) started at third base and went 0-for-3 in the Arizona Complex League on Saturday.

Advice: Lawlar played seven innings in the field in the first game of his rehab. He's missed a lot of action due to injuries this season, and the Diamondbacks need him to build up at-bats before any thoughts of promoting him to the majors. To that end, it's noteworthy that he started at third base Saturday. With Geraldo Perdomo locked in at shortstop, third base becomes a potential landing spot for Lawlar. • Swipes two bags in win
Neto went 1-for-5 with an RBI and two steals in a 7-0 win over the Cubs on Saturday.

Advice: Neto hit an RBI single and swiped two bases in a productive third inning. He has stolen four bases over his past 10 contests but has gone just 7-for-37 at the plate over that span. On the year, the shortstop is hitting .243 with 11 home runs, 39 RBI, 33 runs scored and 14 steals over 319 plate appearances. Rotowire.com Saturday, 7:05 pm

  • Hits first career homer in win
Lee went 1-for-4 with a two-run home run in Saturday's 9-3 win over the Astros.

Advice: Lee took Hunter Brown deep in the third inning for his first career major-league home run. The 23-year-old has hit the ground running with the Twins, going 7-for-15 with a home run and six RBI over his first four games. While it's unclear exactly how much time Royce Lewis (groin) will miss, the rookie has made the most of his time in the big leagues so far. Rotowire.com Saturday, 6:13 pm

Oneil Cruz went 1-for-3 with a two-run home run against the Mets on Saturday.

Advice: Cruz’ home run was his 13th of the season. He hit a two-run shot off David Peterson in the second inning. • Xavier Edwards reaches three times, scores run
Xavier Edwards reached three times while going 2-for-3 in a win over the White Sox.

Advice: The only negative was a caught stealing for Edwards, his second of the year. The 24-year-old is a former top prospect who has hit .286/.375/.357 since taking over the shortstop role for the recently-departed Tim Anderson. His speed could help fantasy managers, but Edwards lack of power makes him a tough sell for fantasy managers in anything but NL-only formats. Rotoworld Saturday, 3:52 pm

  • Brooks Lee hits first career homer against Astros
Brooks Lee went 1-for-3 with a two-run homer against the Astros on Saturday.

Advice: Lee took Hunter Brown deep in the third inning, giving the Twins a six-run lead early in the game. It was Lee’s first career major league home run in his fourth game for the Twins since he was promoted on July 3. The 23-year-old is off to a good start, going 7-for-14 at the plate with six RBI so far. Rotoworld Saturday, 1:54 pm
  • Set for rehab assignment
Arizona sent Lawlar (hamstring) on a rehab assignment to the Arizona Complex League on Saturday, Alex Weiner of ArizonaSports.com reports.

Advice: Lawlar was placed on Triple-A Reno's 7-day injured list June 17 after sustaining a Grade 1 left hamstring strain while legging out a triple against Sacramento two days earlier. Lawlar missed the beginning of the season while recovering from a surgical procedure to repair ligament damage in his right thumb, and he played in just 11 games before the hamstring strain. The 22-year-old shortstop has gone 16-for-45 with five doubles, five stolen bases, one home run and 16 RBI in the minors this season. Lawlar will get up to game speed over a few outings in the ACL as he works his way back to Reno. Rotowire.com Saturday, 11:41 am

The shortstop is hitting .279 (17-for-61) over his last 14 games, a slight dip from his .291 batting average overall. He's added a .756 OPS, four home runs, 29 RBI, 35 runs scored, 18 doubles and three triples over 79 contests. Rotowire.com Saturday, 10:16 am
