    • Idle Tuesday
Diaz is out of the lineup for Tuesday's game against the Red Sox.

Advice: The 32-year-old will yield to Jose Aranda at first base Tuesday, giving Diaz his first day off after playing 10 straight games. During that 10-game stretch, Diaz is batting .341 with a pair of homers. Rotowire.com 5 minutes ago

    • Sparks rally Monday
Perez went 2-for-4 with a solo home run in Monday's 8-3 win over the Tigers.

Advice: It was a close game until the sixth inning, when Perez ignited a six-run rally for the Royals with his solo shot. The catcher has hit safely in six straight games, going 10-for-21 (.476) in that span. the homer was his first since May 3. Perez remains one of the top hitters in baseball this season with a .341/.404/.565 slash line, nine long balls, 38 RBI, 19 runs scored and 11 doubles over 47 contests. • Two steals in win
Rengifo went 2-for-5 with two stolen bases in Monday's 9-7 win over the Astros.

Advice: Rengifo has gone 4-for-18 with three steals, one RBI and two extra-base hits over four contests since he returned from an illness. The infielder is slashing .312/.364/.450 with two home runs, 12 RBI, 15 runs scored and 12 thefts through 32 games this season. Rengifo's running far more this season, and his defensive utility gives him some extra upside in fantasy even if it's unlikely he maintains his steady hitting. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 10:30 pm

    • Allows run but converts save
Estevez allowed a run on two hits and a walk without striking out a batter over one inning, earning the save in Monday's 9-7 win over the Astros.

Advice: Estevez's last two outings came in non-save situations after he blew a save May 10 versus the Royals. The closer is now 7-for-10 in save chances this season, though there are some warning signs reemerging after he struggled late in 2023. He's now at a 5.17 ERA, 1.15 WHIP and 17:2 K:BB through 15.2 innings this season. As long as the walk rate stays down, Estevez should be able to right the ship, but he's allowed multiple baserunners in six of his last 10 outings. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 10:19 pm
    • Carlos Estévez records save after allowing run
Carlos Estévez picked up his seventh save despite giving up a run in the ninth Monday against the Astros.

Advice: Estévez gave up two hits and a walk after the outstanding fortune of Jo Adell denying Yainer Diaz a possible homer or at least a double to begin the inning. Estévez is sporting a 5.17 ERA through 15 2/3 innings this season, and he’s lucky that neither Robert Stephenson (out for the season) or José Soriano (in the rotation) is currently an alternative in the closer’s role for the Angels. • Luis Rengifo swipes two bags against Astros
Luis Rengifo had two hits and two steals against the Astros on Monday.

Advice: The second steal saw him jam his left hand into second base, leaving him with an injured middle finger in spite of the oven mitt he was wearing. He was in a lot of pain at first, but he was able to finish the game afterwards. Still, if he’s not in Tuesday’s lineup, this is probably the reason. Rotoworld Yesterday, 8:24 pm

    • Perez blasts ninth home run Monday
Salvador Perez went 2-for-4 with a solo home run against the Tigers on Monday.

Advice: The home run was Perez’ ninth of the season. It came in the sixth inning off Tigers reliever Joey Wentz. Perez is now 16-for-41 (.390) against left-handed pitchers this season. He’s hitting an incredible .341 overall. The 34-year-old is a career .269 hitter and has never even hit .300 in a single-season where he’s played at least 100 games.

    • Notches ninth save
Munoz allowed a hit in a scoreless inning against the Yankees on Monday. He struck out two and earned a save.

Advice: Munoz worked around a one-out single by Juan Soto to finish off the 5-4 victory. Since blowing a save in Colorado on April 21, Munoz has converted his last seven chances, allowing just one run over 13 innings during that span. His ERA is down to 1.77 with a 28:7 K:BB through 20.1 frames. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 7:16 pm
    • Swipes two bags
Yelich went 0-for-3 with two walks, two steals and a run scored in Monday's loss to Miami.

Advice: Yelich stole his fifth and sixth bases of the season in the sixth inning. First, the Brewers outfielder stole second before catching starter Ryan Weathers off guard on a throw back from his catcher, taking the opportunity to swipe home. Overall, Yelich is slashing .321/.398/.564 in 89 plate appearances this season. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 7:14 pm
