• Up as 27th man
The Mets recalled Nunez from Triple-A Syracuse on Tuesday, Tim Healey of Newsday reports.

Advice: Nunez will serve as the Mets' 27th man for Tuesday's doubleheader against the Dodgers and will be available for both games. The right-handed reliever has made four appearances with the big club this season, allowing three runs with a 10:2 K:BB over 6.1 frames. He will likely be sent back down after the doubleheader. • Stays hot in Monday's win
Crawford went 2-for-4 with a double and a run in a win over the Astros on Monday.

Advice: Crawford provided one of two multi-hit efforts for the Mariners on the afternoon while hitting safely for the sixth time in the last seven starts. The veteran shortstop has been clicking at the plate since his return an IL stay from an oblique injury, producing a .296 average and .848 OPS across his last 30 plate appearances despite a 26.7 percent strikeout rate in the same span. • Gaining playing time at shortstop
Wisely went 2-for-4 with a double and two RBI in Monday's 8-4 win over the Phillies.

Advice: After being called up from Triple-A Sacramento on May 11, Wisely started in just one of the ensuing 10 games, but the 25-year-old since appears to have moved into the strong side of a platoon at shortstop with Marco Luciano. Wisely has started in each of the last three games and in three of the Giants' previous four matchups with right-handed starting pitchers, going a collective 9-for-15 with a home run, a double, a stolen base, five RBI and three runs during that stretch. So long as he's swinging a hot bat, Wisely should continue to play ahead of Luciano until Nick Ahmed (wrist) is reinstated from the injured list. Rotowire.com 40 minutes ago

  • Gets knee evaluated
Hall had his left knee evaluated in Milwaukee on Monday, Todd Rosiak of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports. "We have no indication that [the knee injury] worse than [a tweak] right now," Brewers assistant general manager Matt Kleine said. "But we just want to be conservative. There's no sense in rushing through it or pushing through it at this point."

Advice: Hall was placed on the 15-day injured list April 21 due to a left knee sprain but was cleared to begin a rehab assignment with High-A Wisconsin on May 19. After making a one-inning appearance for Wisconsin, Hall moved his rehab to Triple-A Nashville last Thursday, and tossed a scoreless, 16-pitch inning while sporting a fastball that sat around 94-to-95 miles per hour, per MLB.com. Brewers manager Pat Murphy said after Thursday's rehab outing that Hall tweaked his knee late in the appearance after his cleat got caught in the field. Though the Brewers don't appear to be too concerned about Hall's health, the team will wait on the results from Monday's evaluation before determining whether the left-hander is ready to cover multiple innings in his next rehab start. • Receives another start
Brown is scheduled to start Tuesday's game against the Brewers at American Family Field.

Advice: Brown made his fifth start of the season and his first since May 2 in his last appearance Thursday versus Atlanta, striking out six over four scoreless innings while working around one hit and two walks. Because he had been working out of the bullpen over the preceding three weeks and took the mound versus Atlanta on three days' rest, Brown had his workload monitored carefully, as he was pulled after 66 pitches despite mowing down the opposing lineup. Brown should be able to provide the Cubs with more length when he takes the hill Tuesday, but his run in the Chicago rotation may not last much longer with Jordan Wicks (forearm) nearing a return from the 15-day injured list. • Starts up rehab assignment
Jones (undisclosed) began a rehab assignment with the Rockies' rookie-level Arizona Complex League affiliate Monday, going 0-for-2 with a walk, a run and an RBI while playing five innings at shortstop.

Advice: Jones has been on Triple-A Albuquerque's 7-day injured list for more than a month with an unspecified injury, but he looks to be closing in on a return. The 26-year-old hit .250 with a home run and 12 stolen bases in 17 games for Albuquerque prior to being deactivated. Rotowire.com Today, 8:04 am

  • Swipes seventh bag Monday
Winker went 2-for-4 with two runs scored, an RBI and a stolen base in Monday's win over Atlanta.

Advice: After being held out of Sunday's starting nine due to mild cramping in his quadriceps, Winker looked fully healthy Monday as he stole his seventh bag of the year. The 30-year-old was mired in a slump through the first half of May, but he appears to be heating up again -- over his last nine games, he's batting .296 (8-for-27) with a double, two homers, three steals, five RBI and six runs. • Goes deep again Monday
Abrams went 2-for-4 with a home run and two RBI in Monday's win over Atlanta.

Advice: The shortstop launched a solo shot off Charlie Morton in the second inning, giving the Nationals an early 5-0 lead. Abrams has gone yard in back-to-back contests to snap a 22-game power drought, but he hasn't crawled out of his May swoon quite yet -- he hasn't stolen a base in 19 straight games, and he's slashing just .221/.237/.338 over that stretch with a 1:18 BB:K.
