      The Marlins placed Luzardo on the 15-day injured list Saturday due to a lumbar stress reaction.

      Advice: Though he battled a stiff back in his most recent outing this past Sunday in Washington, Luzardo had been listed as the Marlins' starter for Saturday's game versus the Mariners. The southpaw evidently didn't bounce back as well from the back injury as the team had hoped, and he's since been scratched from the start and placed on the IL. Miami has recalled Shaun Anderson from Triple-A Jacksonville to make a spot start Saturday in Luzardo's stead.       Advice: His fourth-inning shot off Carlos Rodon helped chase the southpaw from the game as part of a three-homer, eight-XBH barrage from Atlanta. Olson's bat has come alive in June, and through 74 plate appearances on the month he's slashing .309/.365/.574 with four of his 12 long balls on the year and 10 of his 40 RBI.       Jurickson Profar was removed from Friday’s game against the Brewers with left knee patellar tendinitis.

      Advice: Profar has been playing through patellar tendinitis in his left knee and appears to have re-aggravated the issue during Friday’s contest against the Brewers. The 31-year-old was lifted for a pinch-runner in the seventh inning and there’s wasn’t much of an update on his status following the contest.       Ohtani went 2-for-2 with a two-run home run and two walks in Friday's 3-2 extra-inning loss to the Angels.

      Advice: The Dodgers only had seven total baserunners in the contest, and the hitters behind Ohtani in the order went a combined 0-for-16. He has logged multiple hits in five of his last six games, and he's swatted five homers with 11 RBI in that span.       Advice: Duran served up a two-run home run to Shea Langeliers after being called upon to protect a 5-4 lead in the eighth inning.       Shohei Ohtani homered and reached four times in a 3-2 loss to the Angels on Friday in 10 innings.

      Advice: We’re used to seeing those type of efforts from Ohtani being wasted, but usually it was for the Angels, not against them. The 29-year-old absolutely destroyed a solo blast off Matt Moore in the fifth for his 22nd homer of the year and 55th RBI of the season.       Profar (knee) was removed for a pinch runner in the seventh inning of Friday's game against the Brewers, AJ Cassavell of MLB.com reports.

      Advice: Profar dealt with a knee injury earlier in June, and he didn't appear to be running at full strength to begin Friday's game. As a result, the Padres replaced him after a one-out double with the score tied 5-5 in the seventh. Profar could end up getting additional time off this weekend.
