    • Robert Suarez secures one-out save on Saturday
      Robert Suarez picked up his 19th save of the season on Saturday, recording the final out against the Brewers.

      Advice: It didn’t seem like Suarez would be needed in this one after the Padres entered the ninth inning leading 6-0, but after Brice Turang slugged a two-out grand slam that made things a bit tighter, the 33-year-old right-hander was summoned to close it out. It took him just three pitches to get William Contreras to bounce out to third base to end it.     • Brice Turang slugs grand slam in loss to Padres
      Brice Turang singled twice, drew a walk and belted a grand slam on Saturday night as the Brewers were thwarted by the Padres in San Diego.

      Advice: Turang led off the game with a walk but was gunned down by Kyle Higashioka while attempting to steal second base. He then singled to center in the third inning and was once again cut down trying to nab second base. Turang had been caught stealing just twice all season entering play on Saturday. He then prevented a shut out with a two-out grand slam off of Jhony Brito in the ninth inning that pulled the Brewers to within two runs at 6-4. With his three-hit effort, the 24-year-old infielder is now hitting .296/.360/.416 with five homers, 31 RBI and 26 stolen bases in 30 attempts on the season. Rotoworld 58 minutes ago

    • Jazz Chisholm Jr. leaves game with tight biceps
      Jazz Chisholm Jr. was removed from Saturday’s game against the Mariners due to tightness in his right biceps.

      Advice: The 26-year-old outfielder had been 1-for-2 with a single and a strikeout when Vidal Brujan surprisingly hit for him in the sixth inning. The severity of the injury is not yet known, so be sure to check his status on Sunday.       Logan Gilbert allowed four hits over eight scoreless in a 9-0 win for the Mariners on Saturday.

      Advice: Gilbert issued just one walk while striking out six, and he needed just 92 pitches to get through the Miami lineup. The 27-year-old has not allowed a run over his last two outings, and he’s lowered his ERA to 2.71 thanks to those dominant results. The Mariners have arguably the best rotation in baseball, but Gilbert just might be the ace of that staff right now. He’s scheduled to face the Twins at home next weekend.       Advice: The right-hander has mostly put his rough start to the season behind him. Diaz has converted 10 straight save chances over his last 12 appearances, posting a 2.31 ERA, 1.20 WHIP and 12:6 K:BB through 11.2 innings during that stretch. The infielder's big game lifted his slash line to .266/.330/.464 with 12 homers, 49 RBI, 36 runs scored, 17 doubles and one stolen base over 75 contests this season.
