    Twins recalled LHP Kody Funderburk from Triple-A St. Paul.

    Advice: The 27-year-old southpaw had just been optioned to Triple-A St. Paul on Wednesday, but he’ll head right back with Brock Stewart (shoulder) landing on the injured list.     Marlins recalled RHP Darren McCaughan from Triple-A Jacksonville.

    Advice: With Bryan Hoeing (hamstring) heading to the injured list, McCaughan will get an opportunity to work out of the Marlins’ bullpen. The 28-year-old hurler was struggling during his time at Triple-A Jacksonville, posting a troublesome 6.14 ERA, 1.55 WHIP and a 22/8 K/BB ratio over 22 innings of work.
