• Homers among three hits
Tatis went 3-for-5 with a home run, three RBI and two runs scored in Friday's victory over the Diamondbacks.

Advice: Tatis opened the game's scoring in the fourth inning with a two-run home run off Slade Cecconi. The Padres right fielder added an additional RBI the next inning with a single. His performance Friday night was a welcome sight as Tatis entered slumping a bit, having not homered since April 19, hitting .130 (6-for-46) over that span. Rotowire.com 6 minutes ago
  • Goes deep in win
Rooker went 1-for-3 with a two-run homer in Friday's win over the Marlins.

Advice: Rooker opened the scoring Friday night, crushing a titanic 440-foot homer off Ryan Weathers in the fourth inning to give Oakland the lead. Despite sporting a .211 batting average, the Athletics designated hitter has provided plenty of power with six homers while slugging .507. Rooker may be heating up along with the spring weather, as he's hit .269 (7-for-26) with two homers and eight RBI over his last eight games. Rotowire.com 36 minutes ago

  • Ryan O’Hearn hits two-run homer versus Reds
Ryan O’Hearn went 2-for-5 with a two-run homer versus the Reds on Friday.

Advice: O’Hearn legitimately looks like one of the AL’s best hitters right now, no matter how ludicrous such a statement would have been a year or two ago. That he doesn’t play versus lefties limits his fantasy value, but it’s probably time for the Orioles to try him against southpaws. Rotoworld 46 minutes ago

  • Fernando Tatis Jr. homers, drives in three in win
Fernando Tatis Jr. went 3-for-5 with a two-run homer and three RBI in a 7-1 win Friday over the Diamondbacks.

Advice: The Padres were able to hit three homers Friday in the easy win, and Tatis Jr. swatted the first of those roundtrippers with a two-run shot in the fourth. The 25-year-old star also singled home a run in the fifth, and he’s up to seven homers and 20 RBI over the first month-plus. It’s nice to see Tatis Jr. remind early just how impressive of a talent he is. Rotoworld 53 minutes ago
  • Brent Rooker swats homer as A’s top Marlins
Brent Rooker hit a two-run homer to help the A’s to a win Friday over the Marlins.

Advice: Rooker absolutely scorched a two-run blast off Ryan Weathers to center, with the ball travelling an estimated 440 feet. That’s the sixth-homer of the season for the right-hander, and he’s up to 15 RBI over the A’s first 32 games. The average (.211) and stolen bases (1) leave much to be desired, but Rooker can certainly provide some pop. Rotoworld Today, 9:06 pm

  • Mickey Moniak swats three-run homer to lead Halos
Mickey Moniak swatted a three-run homer on Friday night, powering the Angels to a 6-0 victory over the Guardians in Cleveland.

Advice: Moniak delivered the biggest blow of the game, launching a two-out, 411-foot (109.9 mph EV) three-run shot on the first pitch that he saw from Tanner Bibee in the fourth inning — increasing the Angels’ lead to 5-0. Moniak also singled in the ballgame, finishing the night 2-for-4. On the season, the 25-year-old outfielder is now hitting .164/.211/.269 with a pair of homers and seven RBI. • Steven Kwan reaches base three times in loss
Steven Kwan went 2-for-3 with a pair of singles and a walk as the Guardians were shut out by the Angels on Friday night.

Advice: As a team, the Guardians were only able to muster six hits and a pair of walks on the night, so Kwan definitely did his part. He has been a tremendous catalyst atop the Guardians’ lineup this season, slashing a robust .356/.406/.500 with three homers, 11 RBI and three stolen bases through his first 31 ballgames. • Swipes bag in return
DeLuca went 1-for-4 with a run scored, three RBI and a stolen base in Friday's 10-8 win over the Mets.

Advice: Getting the start in center field against lefty Jose Quintana and batting eighth in his 2024 debut, DeLuca made a big impact in his return from a hand injury. The 25-year-old figures to handle a short-side platoon role in a Tampa Bay outfield that remains in flux due to Josh Lowe's hamstring strain, and poor starts at the plate for Jose Siri (thigh/suspension) and Randy Arozarena. • On base four times Friday
Arozarena went 1-for-2 with three walks, a solo home run and a second run scored in Friday's 10-8 win over the Mets.

Advice: The 29-year-old outfielder has had a brutal start to 2024 that includes what would be a career-high 29.1 percent strikeout rate and a career-low .455 OPS, but Arozarena came through with a solid performance in a wild win. His fourth-inning long ball off Dedniel Nunez was his fourth homer in 32 games to go along with four steals, and Arozarena has contributed a respectable 14 runs and 15 RBI despite his woeful .145/.242/.265 slash line.
