• Posts season-high seven Ks
Eflin did not factor into the decision Sunday, allowing four runs (three earned) on seven hits and one walk over 5.2 innings against Atlanta. He struck out seven.

Advice: Eflin entered the sixth inning with a four-run lead, but after retiring the first two batters in the frame, he allowed four consecutive singles and was removed one out shy of completing six full innings. The seven strikeouts marked a season high for Eflin, who had failed to record more than three strikeouts during any of his previous five starts. He'll carry a 4.12 ERA and 1.17 WHIP into his next start, currently slated to take place over the weekend when the Rays travel to Pittsburgh to take on the Pirates. • Rafael Devers plates two as Red Sox top Yankees
Rafael Devers went 1-for-3 and drove in a pair of runs on Sunday night as the Red Sox triumphed over the Yankees.

Advice: Devers delivered a sacrifice fly off of Marcus Stroman in the fourth inning that extended the Red Sox’ early lead to 4-1. He then added a valuable insurance run in the seventh with an RBI single that plated Jarren Duran to make it a 5-3 game. Devers then raced around to score on Connor Wong’s two-run triple. He’s having another solid season at the dish, slashing .284/.378/.550 with 13 homers, 36 RBI and one stolen base. Rotoworld Yesterday, 7:19 pm
  • On bench for nightcap
Jeffers is not in the starting lineup for Game 2 of Sunday's doubleheader with the Athletics.

Advice: Jeffers will get a breather after he went 1-for-4 in the team's 6-2 win over Oakland in Game 1. Christian Vazquez will take over behind the plate and bat eighth in the nightcap. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 2:56 pm

  • Sitting in series finale
O'Neill is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Yankees.

Advice: O'Neill will get a breather after he went 5-for-18 with a home run and a double while starting each of the last four games following his return from a a three-game absence due to right knee inflammation. Rob Refsnyder will spell O'Neill in right field. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 2:44 pm
  • Turang steals two bases in win Sunday
Brice Turang went 1-for-3 with a walk, a run scored and two stolen bases against the Reds on Sunday.

Advice: Turang now has 26 steals on the season. He’s been great for the Brewers at the top of the batting order with a .287 average and .748 OPS this year. The speed has been a game-changer for fantasy managers. Rotoworld Yesterday, 2:19 pm

  • Zach Eflin strikes out seven in no-decision
Zach Eflin allowed three earned runs in 5 2/3 innings on Sunday against the Braves. He allowed seven hits while walking one and striking out seven.

Advice: Eflin continues to flash the brilliance he showed last season while faltering in key moments. He cruised through five innings after a lead-off home run by Jarred Kelenic but unraveled with two outs in the sixth. It’s frustrating to see him fall one out shy of the quality start while the bullpen blew his win despite objectively pitching well against Atlanta. His ERA sits at 4.12 on the season. • Another multi-hit performance
Witt went 2-for-5 with an RBI and a stolen base in Saturday's win over the Dodgers.

Advice: Witt went hitless in his first three at-bats before driving home Garrett Hampson with a single in the seventh. The star shortstop would then go on to swipe his 20th bag of the season while also recording another single in the ninth, giving him his fourth multi-hit performance in his last five contests. Witt is now batting .375 in June with two homers, nine RBI, four stolen bases and eight runs scored. He also leads the majors with 59 runs scored. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 7:40 am

  • Picks up 10th win
Lugo (10-2) earned the win over the Dodgers on Saturday, allowing two runs on six hits and one walk over six innings while striking out four.

Advice: Lugo did a great job of working his way out of trouble for most of the contest, with the exception of the fourth inning when he allowed back-to-back hits to open the frame and also hit Jason Heyward with a pitch before eventually surrendering two runs. The right-hander allowed just two more hits over his final two innings of work, notching his 11th quality start of the season and his first this month. Lugo is now tied with Ranger Suarez for the major-league lead in wins with 10 and has gone at least six innings in five consecutive outings. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 7:23 am

  • Bobby Witt Jr. steals 20th base of year in victory
Bobby Witt Jr. stole a base while going 2-for-5 in a victory for the Royals over the Dodgers on Saturday.

Advice: Witt Jr. also drove in a run with his single in the seventh, and it gave the Royals a 6-2 cushion. The star shortstop’s theft gives him 20 on the season, and there’s a good chance he’s going to pass the 49 swipes that he picked up in 2023. No one has helped fantasy managers fill categories more than Witt Jr. in 2024. Rotoworld Saturday, 8:43 pm
