      Ranger Suárez (thumb) will start Saturday’s London Series opener against the Mets.

      Advice: As expected, Suárez will take the ball across the pond against the division-rival Mets after making it through a couple throwing sessions this week without any issues. The 28-year-old southpaw suffered a left thumb contusion last weekend when he was hit by a comebacker.       Yamamoto came away with a no-decision in Friday's 2-1 extra-innings win over the Yankees, allowing two hits and two walks over seven scoreless innings. He struck out seven.

      Advice: The 25-year-old right-hander was brilliant in his longest scoreless outing in MLB so far, generating 33 called or swinging strikes among his season-high 106 pitches, but neither offense was able to put runs on the board until the 11th inning.     • Jurickson Profar homers, Padres demolish D-backs
      Jurickson Profar slugged a solo homer and also added a three-run double on Friday, lifting the Padres to a 10-3 blowout victory over the Diamondbacks.

      Advice: Profar has been an unexpected revelation this season in his return to San Diego, and even looks like he has a shot at making his first All-Star Game appearance. The 31-year-old journeyman clubbed a solo shot -- his ninth round-tripper of the season -- off Diamondbacks starter Brandon Pfaadt in the opening frame before tacking on a bases-clearing three-run double in the eighth inning to ostensibly blow the game wide open. He won’t sustain this near-elite level of performance for the entire season, but fantasy managers should continue to ride the wave until it comes craching into shore.       Profar went 2-for-5 with a solo home run and a three-run double in Friday's 10-3 win over the Diamondbacks.

      Advice: Profar went back-to-back with Fernando Tatis in the first inning and then added his two-bagger in the eighth as part of a five-run inning. Through seven games in June, Profar has gone 7-for-25 (.280) with three extra-base hits and a 3:6 BB:K. The outfielder has only slightly cooled off after his impressive first two months -- he's now at a .325/.418/.496 slash line with nine homers, 42 RBI, 35 runs scored and four stolen bases over 67 contests.       Diaz went 3-for-5 with a home run and three RBI in Friday's 7-1 win over the Angels.

      Advice: Diaz opened the scoring with an RBI single in the first inning and added a two-run homer in the seventh. He's gone yard in four straight contests, an impressive run of power after he went 39 games without a homer prior to this surge. The catcher is at a .258/.285/.416 slash line, seven long balls, 32 RBI, 22 runs scored and 10 doubles over 56 contests. With Kyle Tucker (lower leg) going on the injured list Friday, Yordan Alvarez has seen more time in the field, giving the Astros the option of moving Diaz to designated hitter rather than having him at catcher full-time in the short term.     • Boone: Soto ‘wasn’t an option’ Friday vs. Dodgers
      Yankees manager Aaron Boone told reporters after Friday’s extra-innings loss to the Dodgers that Juan Soto (forearm) wasn’t available.

      Advice: Soto left Thursday’s game with inflammation in his forearm, and there was some speculation that the outfielder could be available off the bench for Friday’s contest. Several possibilities passed where Soto could have entered, but Boone kept the outfielder on the bench.     • Sale strikes out 10 in loss to Nationals Friday
      Chris Sale allowed two runs in seven innings and took the loss against the Nationals on Friday.

      Advice: Sale gave up five hits, walked one and struck out 10. It was an impressive bounce back performance after he allowed eight runs in his last start. Sale has been tremendous at times this season. While he has a 3.01 ERA on the year, his xFIP is even better at 2.43. The 35-year-old left-hander is set to face the Orioles on the road next week.       Sale (8-2) took the loss Friday against the Nationals, allowing two runs on five hits and a walk over seven innings. He struck out 10.

      Advice: It was a strong bounce-back effort from Sale after he surrendered eight runs against Oakland in his last start. However, Atlanta couldn't get on the board until the eighth inning in an eventual 2-1 defeat. Sale now has eight or more strikeouts in six of his last seven outings. His ERA sits at 3.01 with a 0.94 WHIP and 92:11 K:BB across 12 starts (74.2 innings) this year. Sale's currently in line for a road matchup with the Orioles in his next outing.
