• Picks up steal in loss
Blanco went 0-for-2 with a walk, a stolen base and one run scored in Saturday's 7-3 loss to the Padres.

Advice: Blanco briefly looked to be claiming a larger role in mid-May, but he's since returned to his usual status as a fourth outfielder. His steal Saturday was his first since May 13, giving him 12 thefts on the year. He's added a decent .255/.323/.364 slash line with one home run, four RBI, 15 runs scored and three doubles over 63 plate appearances. Blanco's last two starts have come against right-handed pitchers, but it appears that's more to give Kyle Isbel regular rest than it is a sign of Blanco earning a larger role. • Two steals in win
McCarthy went 2-for-4 with two stolen bases and two runs scored in a 10-5 win over the Mets on Saturday.

Advice: McCarthy singled, stole two bases then scored on a Christian Walker grand slam in the third inning and later singled and scored in the eighth. McCarthy was a late addition to the lineup when Lourdes Gurriel (undisclosed) was scratched and made the most of a rare opportunity to face a left-handed starter despite now hitting 11-for-25 against lefties on the season. Since May 21, McCarthy has started only six of a possible 10 games but tallied four steals during that stretch. Rotowire.com 25 minutes ago
  • Rodriguez has three-hit game Saturday
Julio Rodriguez went 3-for-4 with a run scored and two RBI against the Angels on Saturday.

Advice: Rodriguez started the scoring with an RBI single in the third inning and added another RBI single in the sixth inning to put the Mariners ahead 7-0. He’s now up to .273 with 23 RBI on the season. Rodriguez hasn’t lived up to his first round draft status so far this season because his power has nosedived. His .071 ISO this year is over 100 points lower than his career .192 ISO. Rotoworld Today, 7:43 pm

  • Two hits, two RBI in win
Langford went 2-for-5 with two RBI and a run scored in a 7-0 win against the Marlins on Saturday.

Advice: Langford singled and scored a run in the fourth inning then added a two-run base hit in the ninth. In four games since returning from the injured list with a hamstring strain, Langford has posted two multi-hit efforts and totaled four RBI. Langford's current slash line of .229/.292/.290 has obviously been disappointing, but he appears healthy and has started each game since his return from the injured list on May 28. • Throws 6.1 shutout innings in win
Lorenzen (3-3) earned the win against the Marlins on Saturday, allowing five hits and two walks with seven strikeouts over 6.1 shutout innings.

Advice: After allowing the first two hitters he faced to reach base, Lorenzen settled in and held the Marlins in check for his fourth straight quality start. Lorenzen has gone at least six innings in eight of his nine starts this season and now owns a 2.96 ERA, 1.17 WHIP and 44:26 K:BB through 54.2 innings. Lorenzen offers eligibility at starting pitcher and relief pitcher and will look to stay hot in a home matchup against the Giants next weekend. Rotowire.com Today, 6:48 pm

  • White Sox expected to promote Oscar Colas Sunday
Francys Romero reports that the White Sox plan to recall Oscar Colas from Triple-A Charlotte on Sunday.

Advice: With Luis Robert Jr. nearing a return, the timing doesn’t seem optimal for the 25-year-old outfielder to get a real shot at playing time with the White Sox, so we’ll see how this one goes. Colas has hit .244/.358/.406 with five homers, 21 RBI and six stolen bases in 193 plate appearances at Triple-A Charlotte this season. Rotoworld Today, 5:43 pm

  • Joining big-league roster
Colas was called up to the White Sox on Saturday, Daryl Van Schouwen of the Chicago Sun-Times reports.

Advice: Colas' call-up comes after Andrew Benintendi (Achilles) and Andrew Vaughn (finger) sustained in-game injuries Saturday, making it likely that at least one of the two will require a stint on the IL. Colas owned a .571 OPS in 263 plate appearances with Chicago last season and is slashing .244/.358/.406 with five home runs at Triple-A Charlotte this year. Rotowire.com Today, 5:23 pm

  • Four hits, four RBI vs. Atlanta
Andujar went 4-for-5 with a three-run homer, an additional RBI and three total runs scored in Saturday's 11-9 victory over Atlanta.

Advice: Andujar extended Oakland's lead to 6-2 in the second inning, blasting a three-run homer off Chris Sale. It's the second homer in seven games for Andujar this year, who's gone 9-for-17 with three extra-base hits in his last four contests. Overall, he's slashing an outstanding .448/.433/.724 through his first 30 plate appearances with 12 RBI, six runs scored and two steals while settling into an everyday role in Oakland.
