    Advice: Candelario has been nursing the issue for more than a week, with Bell saying before Wednesday's loss to the Pirates that the injury is "progressively not getting better." However, the team doesn't seem to have any plans at this time to put Candelario on the 10-day injured list.     Guardians recalled OF Jhonkensy Noel from Triple-A Columbus.

    Advice: Noel had an 1.156 OPS for Columbus this month, putting him at .295/.359/.578 with 18 homers for the season. It’s unclear how much of a role the Guardians will carve out for him versus righties, but he should definitely be the right fielder against lefties. He struggled to hit for average in previous years, and he’s a zero when it comes to steals, so he’ll need to keep showing plenty of power in order to be useful in fantasy leagues.     The Guardians recalled Noel from Triple-A Columbus on Wednesday. He'll start at first base and bat sixth in the Guardians' series finale in Baltimore.

    Advice: Noel will hit the big leagues for the first time. The 22-year-old slashed .295/.359/.578 with 18 home runs over 65 games with Columbus this season. Much of that production has come since the start of May, with Noel producing a .343/.404/.651 line with 14 home runs in 43 contests over that stretch. Noel has also struck out at just an 18.1-percent rate since May 1, which is a positive development for a player who has often struggled to make contact during his minor-league career. While he can handle first base and the corner outfield spots in a pinch, Noel's best shot at consistent playing time in Cleveland could come at designated hitter. With Noelvi Marte looking likely to return from an 80-game suspension Thursday to provide the club another option at third base, it's possible the Reds will choose to put Candelario on the injured list if they determine his knee would improve with some extended rest.
